Its very well made and entertaining, i am also very inlove with its visuals, kudos to the team
A very neat game that does everything a jam game should! There isn't too much to the gameplay but it's still very entertaining. The atmosphere is great, and the interior of the car brings back fond memories of the ship from Outer Wilds. I haven't played anything more risky in this jam, hahaha. Well done!
You should feel ashamed of even remotely comparing this game to Outer Wilds, but we're flattered nonetheless. Thanks for playing!
7 humans?! How y'all manage to communicate so well and create this amazing game?!

Everything is so well-done but my absolute favourite are the graphics. I love all the tiny details! The mini-camera in front, the rapid chats, the sticky note as instructions. Amazing job!
It was hard to drive when you're near the tornado but I guess that make sense in real life. Perhaps some feedback that you're dangerously too close would be nice (like strong static sound or strong wind sound)
Short yet straight-forward. Perfect for a game jam!
This is super cool and I’m so glad I happened to be on discord to catch y’all talking about it! I loved the concept, though I wasn’t sure exactly where I should be trying to position myself and what the wind direction counter was communicating even after some time spent with it. I also wish reversing was much more responsive/powerful, if it’s even a thing? Having to do full wide turns just to back up a little was kind of frustrating. I played the non-performance version and it looked and ran great for me (I think lol). Just cool aesthetics, a great premise that’s perfectly on theme, minor complaints aside this is awesome!
This is really unique! Never thought I would see something like that, and this is probably what I am always looking for in a game jam. Well done! The gameplay is really interesting, chasing tornadoes for views is such a first-world YouTube thing, I can't help but have a giggle. This really matches perfectly with what the theme is going for. The graphics are really well done, the game just felt very polished.
For some criticism, I think the main thing that hurts the game is that the car control felt a bit off. Driving doesn't have that in-control feel, and in a game where you are basically always driving, you should really iron that part out. The car also slides for some reason. I would also say that the window is just too small, and given that you need to look at how the wind is changing (and also the god damn fog), it was just too easy to lose sight of the tornado. It also makes people like me dizzy after a while of playing.
Anyway, this is a really nice game in my opinion, it's a shame really, with just downloadable builds people just aren't going to play as much as web builds, consider aiming at web first and optimise everything around that, but I digress. You should all feel proud of yourself making this nice little game! Well done!
Thank you so much! Yes, the web build issue is unfortunate. Hopefully, Godot will have updated the C# version by next time to support those again.
Thanks also for your valuable feedback. Some issues have already been addressed, while others require extensive playtesting to iron out the kinks (which we couldn’t do in such a short time before). With this game, we found out how hard it is to make something challenging without it being too frustrating or unfair, lets hope we get better at it next time!
Thank you for taking the time to write a review! We'll treasure the feedback!
I love that you plopped the player right in the middle of the action. I also love the visual style a lot! The UI took some figuring out but it was very fun once I did! Great job!
Fantastic vibe and concept. The viewport being intentionally small is cool but did end up hitting the frustrating side of that balance. Well executed!
Thank you so much! <3 and yes we need to balance it when we can work on it again!
Wow this is really amazing! Very cool and unique take on the theme, I love it. Wrestling the car against the tornado felt great as well. I know it's basically impossible for a jam game, but I'd love a version of this that actually had houses and stuff getting sucked up, where we really have to chase the tornado and such. For a jam, this is incredible stuff!
Omggg this game great!! The art looks incredible and the sound is perfect!! The game also really fits the theme which is great, i really enjoyed the risky feeling of it, even if i sucked at the game! I did have trouble using the radar that tells you where the tornado is going next. Amazing work still! Congrats on submitting this!
I really liked it, I think it fit the theme very well and it's a lot of fun to risk getting close to the tornado, an improvement system would really be great, it was a good work
Amazing art and overall aesthetic. Stormchasing is such a perfect concept for the theme, and I love how you get much more views the closer you are to the storm, very cool submission
I really like the concept and this was a lot of fun to play! Like a few others said, rain, more debris, and things caught in the tornado would make it feel more substantial but the core gameplay is still fun! I can't help but wonder what an upgrade system for the car or livestream between storms could do for replayability. Regardless, great submission!
Neat game I liked it a lot. The visuals are nice and it's really funny seeing the view count increase a ton when I get extremely close to dying. Only thing that would make it better is if there was more destructible objects that would get views if you saw them like in other storm chasing games.
OMG THE ARTSTYLE IS SO CISPY AND PRETTY NOMNOMNOM AFGHEIHGVHER MY FAVOURITE!! could really use a tutorial and a main menu so the player knows what their objective is, overall very awesome game and clearly so much work was put in it!!! love it!!!
ty!!!! we'll try to make it more obvious, the post-it inside the car might be a lil too smoll qwq
game really needs tutorial. this is the only missing thing.
enjoyed it very much, hope to see it keep developing
Stunning presentation! I love the palette and all the details of the car interior, the environment and the tornado. Chasing the storm is a cool interpretation of the theme and this is solidly executed. Great work!
Cool idea and visuals, strong pacific drive vibes. What I missed most were the VFX effects of wind, rain and damaged trees, as well as car sounds other than the engine, such as windscreen wipers, road surface, etc. It would also be cool to hear sounds from the livestream, e.g. subs, achievements for the number of viewers, e.g. 500, 1000, 5000, etc.
The view of the interior looks great, I like the tension added from it being at night as well. I enjoyed driving around and getting the best shots of the tornado. It almost feels like the music and atmosphere should be spookier, with the restricted fov from being inside the car it's a little scary for sure, especially once you start getting grabbed and drifting closer. Great work on the interior and world UI, seriously, huge fan of that.
thanks!!! :3
About the feedback, do you perhaps think the music's a little bit too upbeat?
Also another question if you don't mind, did you find the low FOV fitting? trying to give a claustrophobic feeling
Interesting idea! The game gives Pacific Drive vibes, your team did an awesome job!

Directly hit one of our dreams in another life: be a Tornado Hunter.
We really love the art style and atmosphere alongside the basic concept of the game.
The music, assets and environment are really cool to see and help to immerse the player quickly. Sound effects and driving mechanics should be improved.
The tornado and its continuous changes of direction give us the right feeling of anxiety, like when you go inside a storm with an umbrella.
We can’t rank it, but good job, guys!
glad you liked :3
what would you improve about the driving mechanics?
Maybe support a controller will help to keep car movement more smooth instead normal keyboard.
Engine sounds get annoying pretty quickly when the car is not running.
Give to the player the ability to control the volume could be a good solution to land on different computers with different audio mix.
