Interesting realization. Problem is with inputs, they attached to a rotation of the camera and so you somehow have jump delay or miss input and it makes jumping kinda bugged mechanic. And checkpoints too, if you drown after boat starts to move, but I like visual and vibe. GJ!

How does the game fit the theme?
you collect biscuits by platforming risking falling into water and dying or falling off a tower and reclimbing to progress.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
The boat, statue, and biscuit were made by me and my brother, he custom made the statue and boat with references, the rest are all free on itch. All code was made by me and my brother during the jam.
