I really enjoyed how unique this idea was, how goofy but smooth the flowers moved, the art, the music, lots of great elements. The controls were a bit too difficult to me to really get into it. I think it’s a really cool game still, wish I could have played more.

visually stunning game with a unique concept. I originally found the controls to be hard to use, but as I continued to play it felt much more intuitive. gameplay can become repetitive at a certain point and while having more things to do would make this a more fun game, for a jam entry this was very impressive; would love to see this updated.

Very creative game, really impressive! The music and visuals are amazing, and I liked the variety of flowers and enemies. The only issue for me was the controls, I missed a lot of attacks and even after 10 minutes I didn’t improve much, and the mouse often went offscreen. Great game, good job!

i've never seen anything like this! it's really fun to smack the bugs around, though it's a bit difficult to play on pc because of the vertical alignment. overall, amazing work!

Thanks! The vertical viewport is because we initially wanted to do mobile support, but it didn't make it into the gamejam version. Thanks for the review!

Visual treat! Always impressive to get 3d with only two colors. It was hard for me to aim my shots with any degree of consistency but that could very well be a skill issue. Great work!

Very interesting 3d rendering style, it had a lot of depth and was really interesting to look at. love the physics based game but it sometimes made the controls a bit finnicky, especially the railguns not shooting directly at the reticles a lot of times. i also wasn't a fan of the bee upgrades, cus experimenting led me to having 2x railguns and regretting it haha. I Really liked it when  I finally got my railgun to bloom! Not sure what triggered it but it was exciting! Bombs were my favorite plant and I think I started to get the hang of using them, but they were the most tricky! Great music as well, great job overall!

This game visually look really really good, but the controls felt a little weird and frustrating.

I found myself didn't do a very good in this game for some reason. I feel like I've been playing the game in an unintended way and the amount of time I click off the screen is too much. Even after I beat the game and tried to play it again, I couldn't really shook that feeling away.

But with my user experience aside, I find the game looks incredibly good looking. The visual and audio are good in every way, cool game.

Yes!! Unfortunately we weren't able to fit in mobile support within the deadline, but we definitely feel like a touch-and-drag version of the game would feel very natural to play.

Visuals: Awesome. Physics: Very fun to play with. Music: Fitting. Controls? Frustrating... I do really like the concept but found it very difficult to pick up.

Ah that's a shame! What kind of issues were you having with the controls? Do you think a more "visual" tutorial of flicking the flowers would have helped?

Yeah I'm thinking maybe it was cuz I was playing in a small browser window so I couldn't really get enough distance to flick the flower and the bomb stems kept just falling off the flower but yeah I think a visual tutorial would've been massive

Thank you! We're very proud of the visuals, you make a good point about the resistance of the flowers. That's something we tweaked a few times, it was hard to find a balance between making it feel like the flower "resists" the cursor and making it feel like they're actually following the cursor. We could have probably pushed to make them a bit more "springy" in hindsight. Great feedback!

The visuals are very well done, it looks incredibly good. Though the mechanics are kinda hard imo, might just be a skill issue on my side though :) Overall, job well done!

Thank you!! The game is meant to be a bit challenging, and does require some familiarity with the different weapon types to make it through wave 9. Our next iteration would probably have a difficulty select of some kind, to allow people to ease into the gameplay a bit more. Thanks for the feedback!

The visuals are stunning and such a creative system for a space invaders like game! I think I must suck though cause im super bad at this one haha!
