The first tutorial enemies made me smile a little, because after the character's tragic backstory I didn't expect the enemies to be cute flowers, haha. I liked the enemy designs and the music was nice. I couldn't figure out how to defeat the boss (the tree) though, and I just kept dying. It's a bit too difficult for me.
As for comments on how the game felt, hmm, maybe adding some sound effects during attacks would help make the game feel more energetic during fights. The text speed was a little slow for me, as well.
I liked the game, though.
