It's very fun, controls are nicely designed and there are some interesting mechanics for the player to discover along the way, like a bouncing sofa. I feel like the play window is not set up correctly though because sometimes you cannot see some platforms necessary to finish the level. I mean, despite that the game is still beatable, so I do not know if this was intended

Developer

No, the play window being cut off was my bad. I'll fix it after the judging period is over.

Submitted

Ok, looking forward to play the game later then :)

The embed size in the browser cut off a fair chunk of the screen so some parts of it were unplayable unfortunately. I think this would be an easy fix in the game settings page? (Although it did make for an interesting challenge trying to guess what was off screen!).

Otherwise it seemed like a fun platformer, the controls were decent and the art was simple but nice.

Developer

Hey thanks for the feedback, I had assumed that I did something wrong in godot to cause the problem. I'll still look into how itch shows game pages because I didn't see any of the problems while testing the game.

Submitted

In the settings for the game you should be able to change the size of the embed which might help.

Developer

thx

That was quite a satisfying little game. The controls felt quite responsive compared to most other platformer games this jam. With a bit of finetuning, I'm sure the movement could feel even better, although I already wanted to play more as it was

Submitted

Short, sweet and straight to the point. Due to nature of the game, you could read a bit more into the premise and the potential narrative points about fighting anxiety and making yourself go outside, which I really enjoyed. Nicely done!

Submitted

Atleast in browser the game is a bit weirdly scaled. Got through the game though haha! Good art and some fun mechanics. Good job

Submitted

Well done, cool game! I think you could've looped the end with the start to emphasise the loop a bit more (maybe a timer for each loop you do or a random order of doors). Cool art style and different mechanics!

Developer

I might actually add an overall timer to the game so people can try to beat it as fast as possible

Submitted

I enjoy the art and the audio and the platforming feels nice unfortunately the screen is also cut off for me. Still beat it tho :)

Submitted

Like the art. Screen seems to be cut off hiding the character and obstacles providing it impossible to complete. Controls felt good

Developer

Thanks, i'm still learning how to do viewport for games properly so your feedback is helpfu.

Simple but fun

Got some weird viewport bug, but maaaaybe even in that bug there is potential, exploring the out of bounds can be somehow fun. Aside from that a fun plataformer, trippy.

Developer(+1)

Exploring out of bounds is what inspired the level where you have to jump up to the ceiling. Trippy level design was something I was trying to experiment with
