Really cool mechanics and a simple storyline, along with some amazing visuals lead this to be one of my favorites. While it is quite hard to navigate back to base I found it fun to use orbits to launch myself and trying to keep my streak alive was really intense but fun. Good stuff :)

Very cool. Really enjoyed it. Pretty hard but eh it's rocket science. It would be nice if the gravity wouldn't suddently stop when you exit the orbit of a planet but be a gradient
The gravity does get weaker the further out you go, but you are right, it is rather sudden.
Technical mumbo jumbo: We wanted to use the Godot Curve type, but couldn't get it working. So we used a linear equation, but it turns out the math doesn't math the way we expected so it's not actually a linear equation lol. By the time we figured that out it was too late to change how gravity was calculated cuz we'd have to edit the curve to make it feel good, but it felt good to us as it was. So we scrapped the curve for our (my) faulty math.
Gameplay was great, I liked the concept! I loved looping around random planets and building up my score, it was so satisfying! I think that a lower orbital decay would be good, because then it would be even more satisfying to loop around the planet multiple times before landing!
Cool concept maybe little bit hard for me but great gameplay!
Do you mean the size of the green/yellow/red zones?
They’re limited in size because the original concept of the game was a puzzle game inspired by Angry Birds Space where you have to loop around planets to make it to a goal. But through testing if we discovered it was more fun to try to loop around as many planets as you could rather than try making it to a goal. We never really considered having infinite gravity fields.
Very fun game, it's been a while since i played this type of game. Very satisfying completing a loop.
Wow, fellow orbit game! At first it was frustrating figuring out the mechanics; controls, speed, and the right combination of both. It does get better naturally as I got used to it! That being said... I never realized to stop by and buy upgrades.... oops. Planets are pretty, and the art style is quite charming. Great game your team has made, congrats!
oh my god this is hands down my favorite game of the entire jam, the concept is so brilliant, the artwork is awesome, seeing my spaceship just fling itself into the endless void was amusing and i played this game more than any other game in the jam so far, awesome work!
I had a lot of fun with this. It was really satisfying to play. Nice work!
Well-polished game; I like the idea, even though I was terrible at aiming the ship.
