I didn’t understand what the fridge was for or where the loop was until the bomb dropped, then my neurons finally made the connection. Well-applied concept!

That is tooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much great!

Really strong concept executed very well - loops give you plenty of time to explore, but with the ever present worry of knowing you'll need to prioritise and only have limited storage space to carry items over. The tension you get during that final minute of each loop where the music builds and the siren sounds is fantastic!

I encountered a bug where I couldn't equip items that had been stored in the fridge, although could honestly have been me doing something wrong on that.

The game (at least, the linux version) crashes on startup :(

If you run it in the terminal, you get a C# exception that “Couldn’t find a valid ICU package installed on the system.”. I assume this is a problem with the game because I have the .NET SDK installed.

Sorry, I didn’t have this issue so I’ve assumed the build was working.

From what I’ve seen online, this error is related to some sort of Unicode handling. According to this StackOverflow answer, the issue could be resolved by setting the DOTNET_SYSTEM_GLOBALIZATION_INVARIANT environment variable to 1.

Could you check whether this works, if possible?

Thank you for reporting this!

great game, really fun concept, only downside is that its a tad too long for a jam game, havent played any other game for 18 minutes, the art style is also pretty fun
