Hello! As I said on stream, this game experience is pretty unique and very surprising to find in a jame jam. I appreciated all the different minigames and the theme of loop overall.
If you want to check it out again, here's the VOD: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2534538386
Thank you for your time and effort! By the way, we’ve released the final build in which we fixed the main issues: first, we balanced the pitch so the sounds now play exactly as the sound designer originally intended, added skip buttons, and improved the fish with additional hints.
very cool and creative concept! did feel punishing as mentioned by some others that jumping all the way back to the worm was a bit disheartening haha! But overall super cool and interesting
Thank you for such a detailed comment—we’re glad you enjoyed it!
very cool idea! The art in this one is on another level, loved the concept of playing different mini-games.
Thank you! Huge shout-out to our artists. We had a lot of fun building the different minigames—glad that part landed!
This was super cool. loved progressing through the different animals. Getting eaten on the fish right away and having to go back to the worm felt a bit punishing so I stopped for now but i’ll probably revisit later! nice work!
Thank you for taking the time and for the rating! P.S. Wow, that animated avatar—now I want one like that too! :3
There's something almost meditative about this game. It's super cool about seeing the art style change and feeling how many people worked on this game in a way you usually don't actively notice. I feel like there's a bit too much of a difficult jump for certain levels -- particularly the fish and bird -- but that stuff can always be tweaked, and this is an incredibly cool and creative game (:
hank you! Glad the meditative vibe and shifting art styles came through—and that the team’s fingerprints are felt. Fair point about the difficulty spike on the fish/bird levels; we’ll look at smoothing those out. Appreciate you playing!
Very calming and creative!
Thank you)
Super ambitious, but it paid off! Really liked the theme and different mechanics, nice job!
Appreciate it!
Wow, this was really nice! The audio fits perfect and I love that you just keep moving up, that's a cool idea. And it's really cool how you added so many different mechanics haha, I loved all of them.
Thanks for the detailed feedback!
Lovely collection of minigames tied together with a coherent theme, well done!
Thank you)
awesome game, a lot of fun with a fantastic concept behind it as well!
thank you)
There's always a bigger fish...
Damn , words cannot describe how much I adore the art and atmosphere of this game. Each stage is a fresh, fun and unique experience, every single one of them is memorable. The only level felt out of place was the goose one where you had to walk in crossy-roads style, but it was really fun too. You did an amazing job with this game, well done!
Keep up the good work!
Oh thank you, that's really nice to hear! Thanks to such responses, it feels like we tried for a reason <3
I really like your interpretation of the theme, the cycle in a food pyramid of an ecological system. The game is fun and well made, and the controls are good. I like how you made the controls a bit stiff in the lake to simulate underwater movement. I like the music; it is good and cozy. My only comment would be that I wish the art was more coherent in the cutscenes, especially for the fish. Great work.
thank you! I'm glad you appreciated it)
THIS GAME IS ABSOLUTELY BIZARRE! I love it!
My favourite part is the frog level! I was a big Zuma enjoyer in my childhood, so it was a welcome reminder :)
Fantastic art (I've noticed there was more than one style - it's so fun!) And very creative and accurate interpretation of the theme!
Thank you, we are very happy to receive such a positive feedback, especially about our styles in the game) We were a little worried that the players might be confused by the abundance of styles, but you reassured us <3
Oh, I’m really glad you stopped by and enjoyed our game. I hope that in the future there will be more projects that resonate just as much.
Super cool take on the food-chain-genre. On the fish level I got cornered by two big fish and it didn't seem like there was a way out because they were faster than me. Cycle of life, I guess.
Thank you for appreciating the game! The fish level is really a bit difficult, our shoal. If you suddenly try to pass it again, you can keep in mind my strategy in it: from the beginning of the fish level, it is better to swim to the left, catch fish vertically and do not forget to eat other pikes if they are smaller than you
Thanks for the tip!
The fish stage left me stressed. Very neat seeing a bunch of minigames in a jam game.
Thank you for the feedbak)
Te art was great, but I think the music was my favorite part of the game. It made it dark, misterious but chill at the same time. Somehow it made me remember some mini pc games from the 90s that were more experimental than anything else.
I forwarded your message to our sound designer, he really appreciated it)
a great idea for the theme, super polished and detailed. One of my favourites for sure!
If you don't mind, please consider rating my game as well :)
I’ll try my best to play as many games as I can, and I’ll be sure to check yours out. Thanks for the feedback!
Really clever use of the theme! Basically made the fun part of spore in 4 days, good job! lol Really nice art, great execution. Good job!
Thanks! We used Spore as a reference for the artists and for game-idea inspiration :)
Approved.
Thank you)
Pixel art is breathtaking, and the animations run like a dream! The progression system made growth feel truly rewarding, and the predator gameplay phases blew me away with their depth. Masterful execution!
Thank you for evaluating the game from a gameplay perspective
