I think their are some conveyance issues with your game. It took a couple of attempts to play the game, because I was killed by the boss almost instantly, and not given enough time to learn the controls. I'm also confused how this is a horror game. However, what i do see here is a pretty good base for a bullet hell game. I think if you gave the player a little bit more warning for the boss. and you made some assets that indicate that this is a top down shooter or bullet hell, this game could be quite a bit better! I'd recommend asesprite as a good art tool for your games, or gimp if you would rather go with something free. There are also assets/art/music people allow you to use for free.

yeah, i used aseprite for the sprites i did have, but mostly I was busy, so I whipped it together pretty fast. I don't plan on continuing this project, but maybe.
