Adorable, the cozy athmosphere and artstyle alongside the simple but quite fun gameplay made this an enjoyable experience. I love the design of the character mouse and the sound effects of the leaves sounds and from the orb bouncing with the walls. I wished there was a quick restart option because more than once I knew I screwed up 2 seconds after shooting and I just had to wait there. But as I said before, a cute, fun and cozy game at the end of the day. A really good job!

Nope - I've completed at least one game jam before.
How does your game fit the theme?
Bramble just has to get started by shooting her magical orb, and see life and foliage grow.

Ah, I'm glad you rated my game, because I've been looking for this game since I saw it in the jam general discord, but I forgot the name. I've been wanting to play and I finally got my chance to play and rate on the last possible day, lucky me! So, I knew I would, but I love it! It's so friggin cute! I love the main character sprites and animation, the cozy environment, the cute butterflies, and the little cozy ending door. You nailed the vibe you were going for perfectly. I like the concept of shooting a wand that brings life/plants to the environment (not kidding, I had a similar jam game where you made plants grow by jumping lol), but shooting a magical orb is such a good way to give that mechanic a puzzley twist. And the puzzles were fun but very generous thanks to the butterflies that help you get just a little more progress when you miss spots, that's a very considerate feature. I also really like the sound effects, especially the sound when the mousey is aiming, it sounds like shes reallllly concentrating.
I already rated this (not sure if you remember) and I'd love to have your feedback on my game!
This as an interesting take in the 'pool' mechanic!! Loved how challenging the levels get! The spritework is also lovely!! I got stuck in one of the spike levels, but I enjoyed a lot how the game is presented!
If I had to say anything it would be to add an indication for how much green I should get for each level , in order to open the door... not that would make a difference for my lack of skills, hahaha!
Solid entry! great job for the team!
Omg this game was so much fun and so adorable. The overall aesthetic was so cohesive and I absolutely love one mechanic games, especially when they're so full of depth like this one was! It was so fun to to try and figure out the optimal strategies for each level and I loved the flower animation when completing a level (as well as all the other animations as well!) My only critique is that I wish I understood the requirements for spawning butterflies a little better as well as how many bounces the orb had before disappearing, since that would allow me to optimize my strategy. Those are minor complaints though, and I think this game is phenomenal as is, especially given the time frame! amazing job, 5/5/5
Oh yeah, we definitely could have explained the butterfly and orb mechanics better in the game. The butterflies (and mushrooms) actually have a 10% chance to spawn when a piece of greenery is spawned. The orb, if I remember right , has 10 bounces before it disappears. We had plans to make it more obvious when the orb is about to disappear but weren't able to implement them due to time constraints.
Thanks for playing, I loved your game too!
This game is soooooooo cute <3
The main character is adorable, and the mechanic of bringing life by shooting that orb is so fun! The way you added new things like the flowers, moving platforms and spikes were great too! I just found a bug that the orb can be used while you're still charging it, by touching it somewhere, but it didn't mess with my experience at all
Great work dudes! You guys nailed it!
The game looked amazing, but maybe consider adding some more features that you can control, because the butterfly's where cool but you could only watch them and you just needed to wait for them to make plants grow. also all of the menu's looked really good!
The visuals are really amazing and the music + sound effects complement it as well. It was very satisfying to watch the world slowly fill with the life and the butterflies were a great touch to add more to the world and also give the player a way to get just enough percentage to pass the level. Very well done!
Thank you for playing! One of our goals was to make the game as satisfying when growing the greenery! And yes! the butterflies (and mushrooms) were additional entities to help the player gain more greenery. It was inspired by growing an environment with the help of other living organisms! We hope you enjoyed the game!

Fun: good puzzle game, choosing the right place to stand, the right angle to shoot, I like it
presentation: amzing, really like the art style, and the sound design is good, even the main menu is well drawn
creativity: good idea, planting by shooting a bouncy ball, really good
Great art, sound and gameplay concept! The orb firing was slightly misaligned with the charging orb, making it hard to plan where your shots would end up. In spite of this, I had lots of fun. The punchy sound effects along with the animations made it very satisfying to see the orb fly around and beautify the level. It wasn't clear to me if I could encourage butterflies to spawn or not. Sometimes I got lots of them, which really helps in beating the level. Other times I didn't get any at all. Great job yall! This would be a great candidate for further development after the jam concludes. I imagine you could come up with some really interesting levels and puzzles to solve
The Art Chefs Kiss Beautiful,
had to some physics i like games like these very Nice :D
This game has one of the most adorable arts of the entire jam, the animations are so cute and so fluid. The puzzles were great and genuinely really really fun to play. Only feedback would be adding a key for restarting (like R) before the butterflies disappear, even tho the spikes also worked for that but i felt bad for her.
Thank you so much! We're happy you liked our visuals! Regarding a restart button, you can find it by pressing [Escape] then pressing the Restart Level button. We've noticed that this was not stated anywhere and will definitely be taken note of. Placing it in [R] for a quick restart, definitely sounds like a good idea! Also, poor Bramble! We never thought the spikes would be used for that (but if it works, it works!)
( ≧ ᗜ ≦). Thank you so much for your feedback and for playing!
wow that game is NEAT. creativity and presentation are goated, and i had a lot of fun playing it. im happy i discovered this game. one of my fav for sure i would have liked more levels!
This is such a creative little game! I love the sound effects, it feels very juicy to shoot that little ball all around. There are a couple weird things, like if you hold down the button and then point down it'll do the ground below you, but then you can still shoot the ball. When the end level flower opens, I wish the background music would cut out to play the little jingle, having it in the same instrument but a different key sounds very disjointed. Other than that I loved it, super cute game, nice work!
Thank you for your feedback! Regarding pointing down the orb to the ground and letting it grow some greenery below you, we intended to keep it since it still reduces the orb's overall bounce! It was not game breaking (and may be used for some strategies!) but it will be something we're going to have to look at maybe post jam. And yes! we're definitely taking note of the music overlapping each other. It can be unpleasant to the ears. Thank you so much for playing! We hope you enjoyed it!

I like the creative mechanic of this game! The art is so cute, and watching the plants spreading is satisfying. Gameplay itself is simple but still quite fun. The polish is also great!
So unique and creative ! The pixel art is amazing, the concept is fun and original, could become a banger as a 2D adventure metroidvania where you explore and restore the world. The character design is also top.
