I really love the idea and how well it fits the theme — super creative concept!
But the jump feels too low ? I noticed the jump height seems to change depending on the browser I use, and I couldn’t get past the first scene because of it.
yeah i notice that, and i just fixed it u can try it now(try the one that in my page not the one on the jam's submissions cuz maybe the jam still have the oldest version cuz i fix the bug after the deadline (atleast thats what chatgpt says) :D
really interesting mechanics for a platformer. the art was really cool too
I really liked the concept for this game and the simple art style. Could easily make a full-length version of this with increasingly complex platforming and maybe some axe upgrades.
This is a really responsive game with a very unique mechanic that follows the theme closely, which is really cool. The lack of checkpoints is a real shame though since it meant I didn't want to finish it after dying very far in 3 times!
I was unable to jump over the first obstacle. Am i missing something maybe?
I was also quite confused about the first non-tutorial obstacle…
its really easy just water the tree 3 times then jump over the jumpad to reach the top of the tree then jump again
