Citadel Centric Cities?

Hi.

I've been using this generator for my custom D&D campaign, and it's been great.

However, I'd like to create a city where the cital is at its center. I know I can photoshop it to some extent and achieve what I'm aiming for, but is there a way to generate a cidatel at the center of the shapes and have a secondary wall forming around it?

Edit:

This illustrates what I mean (the most important building, keep/cidatel is at the center, and the city is 'built around it'.)

I don't see your image, but I think I understand what you are asking about (something like this?). Currently the closest thing you can get is a city without city walls, but with a shanty town, which can grow around the citadel. Being able to generate a city with a citadel inside city walls is a popular request, so eventually it will be implemented.

Yes. That's pretty much what I have in mind indeed!

Great :)

I'll be looking forward to it.

Is there any chance of this option as shown in the twitter gif, being put as an option instead of or in addition to warp. This is JUST what I want, and would solve the citadel placement thing

Unfortunately, it can't be easily transplanted from that thing to MFCG. Besides the incompatibility of the algorithms, another problem is that there I had to manually set radii of rings, they couldn't adapt automatically to characteristics of a city.

Hello Watabou, First of all thank you for MFCG which is a wonderful tool for our D&D adventures. I'm looking for exactly that kind of city. Is there a way for us to use this version of the generator? Today, I use the warp option and Inkscape to edit SVG files but i must admit that it takes a long time.

This is not a version of the generator, this was just a prototype. I'm not even sure I still have the source code. Sorry.
