Greetings everyone who sees this,
My name is Devin Blair—writer and host of Chemical Rocketeers, a sci-fi storytelling podcast that’s now expanding into game development. I’m reaching out to connect with developers who might be interested in collaborating on a volunteer basis to help bring a Rocketeers-inspired tactical shooter to life.
This is a work-in-progress project currently referred to as the Rocketeers game—a faction-based, squad-focused multiplayer experience set in the same universe as the podcast. The game features a deep lore foundation, asymmetric factions, and deployment-based combat with AI grunts and class-based operatives. Think Rainbow Six: Siege meets Helldivers, layered with storytelling and world-building drawn from years of narrative development.
While I’m not in a position to offer upfront pay, I’m offering:
- Royalties from future game revenue, fairly split based on contribution
- Full creative credit and visibility across all platforms
- A say in the creative direction and design process
- Portfolio value tied to a growing, lore-rich IP already gaining traction
The world, factions, gameplay systems, and visual identity are already well established. I’m now seeking a technical partner or small dev team to help prototype the gameplay and begin turning this universe into an interactive experience.
If this sounds like something you'd like to be part of, I’d love to share more details—including a pitch deck, gameplay outline, and faction previews.
Thanks for your time—I’m looking forward to the possibility of working together.
