What a good message! And fun to speedrun, too. Thanks for the contrast slider & note, I got a handle of things once I realized there was more that was interactable.
This was a cute game. The game progression was nicely done and it was nice being able to adjust the difficulty while playing if you get stuck.
This is a lovely game, it's really unique, heart-warming, and it's fun to learn the different things you have to do to for each "obstacle". There is a really nice progression throughout the levels too, and it's great to see the effort that was put in the accessibility settings! Awesome job, and thank you!
(edit: and that explosion is great! 😄)
Thank you so much!
A nice game with a cute story to go with it. The difficulty is pretty nicely ramped up with mechanics introduced at a nice pace as well. Nice pixel art too.
Thanks! I’m really glad that you enjoyed the introduction of mechanics, cause I really wanted to make the game easy to understand (unlike other games I did in the past lol)
Also, cute dog in the profile pic :)
Hah thanks, that's my Goldie "Cecil".
Good game! I enjoyed the story and difficulty pacing the most! The graphics are simple but they really work for the style. The sound effects were solid too! Very charming and well made game!
Thank you! I’m glad it wasn’t too difficult :)
Character baby and Ralphie has animation when walking but why those dog not have walk animation?
btw overall game is good, it's really hard to get attention Ralphie
Thanks for playing!
I tried making animations for the dog but it was too hard with the four legs lol. Next time I’ll try to animate dogs if I have time :)
Also if you found it too hard you can change the game speed and level duration by right clicking while you’re in a level
I really enjoyed this :) It's very well-made and I love the blend of music and art. I see the inspiration from Untitled Goose Game, too! Well done on what you achieved for the jam, great job!
Thank you :) Glad you liked the music!
Sneaky implementation of the theme! Very cute, I hate Ben. Awesome work!
Haha thanks! Ben should really pay more attention to Ralphie lol
Nooo poor ralphie. Was a bit confused by the last level but managed to figure out a workable solution in the end! I like the message of the game and the art style as well. I like the Ben AI it was fun to figure out how to get him to do stuff. Overall a interesting concept and a fun game! Great work!
Thank you so much!
Loved how dramatic the explosions were lol. And the cutscenes when you lose! Heartbreaking.
Fun game! An interesting premise for a point and click puzzle, and an interesting take on the theme.
Thanks for playing! I worked hard on making the cutscenes as sad as possible lol
Good take on the theme ! I ended up making the TV explode, that made me happy.
Haha glad you liked it!
Really liked the game idea and message behind it. The gameplay was intuitive and I liked how you put hints for players to find. I thought the pace was nice and challenging but it's great you thought of adding a control for that. The art is cute and fits the overall vibe. I would enjoy to play an extended version with more rooms and interactions to try. Very nice game, great job!
Glad you liked it and thanks for the feedback :)
This was such a cute puzzle game!I had so much fun playing it.It s such a creative take on the theme.Great job!
Thank you! Glad you liked it :)
Very cute game! It reminds me of the Pixar short "Feast". I loled the first time I caused an explosion. I also really liked the game speed setting because I struggled on the last level but wanted to be able to beat it to see what happened. Well done!
Haha thanks!
I really enjoyed this game, such a creative take on the theme. I liked the graphics and how you let the player explore how everything works.
Thank you so much :)
Great idea! I appreciated the little note on the wall for when I got stuck.
Thanks for playing :)
Very unique take on the theme.
Thanks for playing!
Pretty cool game, somehow during the first hammer level I just missed it completely but still beat the level probably because of random clicking at one point, replayed through the game to figure that out but once i did it was cool.
The one part of the gameplay I was not a fan of was getting dragged back to the dog bed, it seems like there should be a punishment for getting caught as the dog but honestly every time I was caught and had to watch the slow drag to the bed I just found myself instead just restarting the level.
Very cool game though, fun stuff :)
I thought about the dragging to the bed as a way of giving a second chance to the player if they got caught, instead of just restarting. But yeah, I also felt sometimes that it was too slow or boring. Maybe I could’ve made the guy speed up when he’s carrying the dog. Thanks for playing and for the feedback!
loved the idea! Also, i love that there are so many settings and options for the lvls
Thanks! It was the first time I made an actual settings screen :)
Very nice idea !
Thanks for playing!
