This was a fun little puzzle game. The randomness did make it feel like there was a bit of chance as much as strategy.

Nice entry! I thought the graphics and music were great, and I was able to successfully complete the game. I didn't notice the "right click" to remove items text hint until I was in my 3rd level, so maybe make that text a little bit bigger, or move it to the top of the screen instead. Or call it out in the tutorial? Also, maybe this might make it to easy, but having a "perfect solution" would help make your game feel more like it's about skill rather than luck. For example, in the level that introduces mines, if there were 2 mines and 2 scarecrows, this would be the perfect solution (screenshot). I think at the higher levels, it wouldn't be so easy for everyone to figure out the right combo of scarecrows and mines, but with the detectors it would be kind of like minesweeper: by eliminating certain spaces, you would be able to figure out where the scarecrow and mines need to go. Anyway, I really had a lot of fun and think your game has a lot of potential if you keep going with it. Great job!

I agree, the levels could definitely be improved, and maybe instead of getting a game over when losing a plant, the player could just lose points (save 3 plants to progress - 6 would be perfect).
I had initially considered rating the player based on how many plants they manage to protect, but had to cut it later due to time constraints.
I'll definitely work on improving that.
The moles start moving at random times, so depending on the order, that can change the puzzle, which ended up making things a bit confusing too.

Really cute game with nice visuals. I think that some puzzles are impossible until you already saw where the moles spawn, especially before you get the detector, but I might be mistaken. By the way, slowly introducing all items instead of granting access to them player from the start was very smart, it makes the game very understandable. Good job.

One of the bests in the Jam, I love games in this style, and the visuals are so cute. The mechanics are very good and the concept is very creative!
This was so cute, I also likes the difficulty ramp you had, each level was harder than the last but never impossible. I enjoy trying to find alternate soloutions for the harder ones too.
Really enjoyed the puzzles, the art was great and I felt the game was very solidly put together. I'd definitely enjoy returning to it for additional levels. Something to improve: I would have liked a reset button for the level. Overall, nice work!

I LOVED this SO MUCH!! The grafics and visual effects were EXACTLY on point, the mechanics, were so perfect, on the start i must admit, i was thinking that the game was overly easy, but as the levels progressed, the dificulty became also on point, the sounds were also very good, i must say, i am ABSOLUTELY choked to see that you made this game all by yourself, this looks like a 3 or 4 people project, you are very talended, i REALLY hope to see more of you in the game industry in the future, wishing you the best! keep up the good work! :D

Cute and fun! I loved the art and everything was really satisfying. One thing I was confused by was the value of the detector, if mole hole are always the same isn't trial and error better? Nice work!
