I understand the status of this book is "in development", but the formatting issues in the main pdf are making things a bit hard to grasp.
- There is no margin padding on either side of the text, which means it's a hard border pressed against the first and last letter of every line. Quite jarring to read. Your supplementary pdfs are not affected by this issue.
- All text is bold from page 17 onwards.
- Are the double asterisks intentional? A lot of font is **like this**. Your other product, Legacy Edge is also affected by this issue, even more so.
Honestly, after reading this and Legacy Edge, I'm a bit concerned by the pace of your upcoming releases. Under the more info tab this was published 3 days ago (at time of writing), but looking at the publisher page for Black Iron Press, you have a range of other books released in short proximity over the past few days that are also in the status of in development. And you have a bunch of staggered releases over the next two months, which I'm guessing will also be released in a state of in development?
I suggest slowing things down and focusing on a bit of polishing, since the pdf issues affect more than one of your products.
I like the ideas of your projects, definitely want solo-focused gameplay books and would like to see your projects developed further. So I will check back in, in the future in the hopes that these are a little more refined and readable.
