i noticed that if you disable V-Sync the game spikes in gpu usage, i got a 1660 super and it leateraly went 99% just by doing that
V-sync caps your framerate. If you disable it, the game tries to render as much frames as it can... so that's where the 100% come from. You can cap the fps manually, if you disable V-sync
