Great game, i realy like the space theme.
Hey thanks for playing our game!
Happy you liked the game theme.
Super addicting, the system discharges were such a perfect way to keep the game innovative and fun. I think the text used for each card could be more legible, I adored the idea.
Thanks for then honest feedback.
The upgrade cards are actually the place holders. Unfortunately the artist didn't manage to get all cards done in time.
After the Jam once we update, the cards will have nicer art and the text will match the one used in the menus.
Thanks for trying our game!
This was fun to play and it doesn't get boring.
Hey thanks for checking out our game.
I'm happy you didn't find it boring and that you had fun.
"it doesn't get boring" = music to a game dev's ears!
I noticed the satellite coming out from behind the Earth and looping back—it created a great effect. I couldn't play more because of the screen shaking, which causes me motion sickness.
Hey i totally get that screen shake feeling (I get sick with it too. Not with this game tho) so no worries. Thanks for trying it anyway and for the feedback.
Can I just ask what part was shaking that caused it? Just so I can adjust it after the Jam.
Right at the start, and when you lose. I don't think it's bad to have in a game, I'm just too much sensitive to it. I reached a score of 100 but couldn't continue. Other than that, it was fun—I love these games where you choose different ways to evolve.
Thanks for letting us know. We will be putting a setting to disable screen shake. (After the jam)
Thanks again.
That would be great—disabling screen shake is the first thing I do when I start playing anything. I really appreciate the dedication.
Valuable feedback!
I love the fact that you do things differently then normal. Great game
Thanks!
We tried to think outside the box a little with this game and so far it seems to have worked.
Great twist on the theme and upgrade system! Loved the art and having an intro cutscene added a lot to the polish, it was well done too. I think this would work really well on mobile as a chill little time burner.
Thanks for the great feedback.
It does play on mobile with a little screen cut on edges but all UI etc is on screen. (Not optimized for mobile screen as ran out of time)
Glad you enjoyed our game tho and hey maybe we do a mobile version in the future.
Fun little space game. I like having to trade increased XP for more danger.
Hey thanks for playing our game.
Glad you enjoyed our downgrade system, It is a little different but creates a fun chaotic time.
Unlike in most game, when you level up you pick an upgrade, here you pick a downgrade or a new obstacle. Very original and fun to play. Great work!
Thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed it!
I kept getting splattered! Made me want to jump back in and try it again. Great for replayability.
Love that you wanted to keep tying as that was the hope.
Thanks for playing our game, I don't think I have seen yours yet?
I will go play now and leave some feedback/Rating.
That makes 2 of us getting splattered! lol
Really effective and fun gameplay loop! The added bit of controlled chaos works great. Definitely a nice take on the theme!
Thanks so much! Really glad you enjoyed the gameplay loop.
Appreciate you checking it out and for the kind words on the theme too!
Unique take on the theme, I enjoyed it, well done
Thank you! I'm really glad you enjoyed it. We wanted to do something a little different with the theme, so it means a lot to us that it worked. Appreciate you playing!
It's pretty fun. In terms of game feel it's really good. It's simple and the difficulty choices are nice. The sound effects are good but can get better by adding volume to player's movement sound and other sound effects to make it more immersive. A more balanced background music could have a better impact. Overall, great game mate. Loved the overall implementation.
Thanks for playing and for the constructive feedback! We'll see what we can improve upon in patch 2.0.
Thanks for playing our game and the feedback.
We have settings on the main menu and pause screen. This allows you to adjust the volume of the sound effects and music separately. Did these not work for you?
Well yeah I adjusted man. Now it feels much more immersive. You guys nailed it. Well done.
And sorry I didn't notice earlier.
And also I wanted to appreciate the progression and effect. The detail you've worked on is really phenomenal.
No worries bud. Just wanted to make sure the settings was working for you.
Can I ask how much you adjusted the volumes? Just so I can know players preferences going forward. Might need to adjust the default values etc.
i realy liked that, the intro is very funny, well done
Happy you enjoyed our game.
The intro was a lot of fun to make so I'm glad you liked it.
Amazing idea and unique concept—you truly did a fantastic job! The art is simple yet effective, and the sound effects complement the gameplay well. The visual feedback is excellent. With a bit more polish, this game has the potential to be a big hit!
Thanks for the great feedback.
Any polish in mind or just a general tidy up after the Jam? Always looking to improve.
Your game is well-built, and you did great! To improve, consider adding labels for the repair time and the red bar to make them more intuitive. A small boost sound with a slight rotation for the player could enhance the feeling of using thrusters and moving. Adding a subtle scale effect, like shrinking to 0.9 and returning to 1, along with a smooth swing when the ship is successfully repaired, would give it more impact. Including a repairing icon on the left or right side of the player would also add useful visual feedback. Overall, amazing work!
Some good feedback thank you. Will try these out for the next update after the Jam.
The player does have a boost sound but it might be too quiet maybe?
Yeah good feedback, thank you for your time!
Great game! I'm also pretty bad, see leaderboard, I'm there with username "romw". My rating: 3:3:3:3:3
Thanks for playing and ratings.
It is one of those games that you get better with time.
Nice little game you made there i'm pretty bad though i think after 5-6 attempts my best was 180 something.
Very addictive though.
The intro was very nicely done as well great humour as game overall was a fun experience.
Thanks!
180 is not a bad score. It also depends on the upgrades you pick. (Overload Blink=Hard Mode)
Glad you enjoyed it tho and thanks for trying it out 💚
Your welcome definitely a nice game you and your team has made. Sorry for delay so many entries its hard to get to everyone and play everything... well that's not going to be possible lol way too many anyway!
Good luck with your final placing.
I am trying to play as many as I can also but yes, soo many to play.
Glad you enjoyed it! I'm not too great myself. lol
I played it for a while and found it interesting.
I even laughed a little for some reason. XD
Thanks for playing! Glad it made you laugh. We wanted it to be light-hearted.
Is a turn a round of the Vampire Survivor Idea and really well executed. Nice Job
Thanks for playing!
We wanted to do something a little different, and I hope we succeeded 🤞
oooo hell yeah, I love the space theme!! The idea of overpowering the space satelite is really cool, I really like the gameplay, and appreciate the well done the transitions. Also "send help" button is just peak.
Thanks for the great feedback.
Sounds like you had a good time playing our game. "Send Help" was just a random thought in my head at the time but it made it to the main game 😁
the gameplay in this game is quite interesting
I'm glad you thought so!
