Played the game to get all 3 endings (and also once got a bug when there was no ending, still not sure how it happened) I also for some reason thought at first that you should give both water and fertilizer in turns :D

First of all, the art style is cool and works really well for creating an uneasy and melancholic atmosphere! It is really impressive that you drew everything by hand. Has such a personal touch to it.

What I also liked is your narrating technique, where there are small hints to the events that happened, but you do not notice them right away (or maybe do not want to notice haha). It is interesting to observe how the apartment, as well as your mental state, change from day to day.

I must say that the final reveal was a bit too gruesome for me. I was not sure what emotions should I have after ending the story or why the story should be that brutal. I was sad and touched by the character's feelings for her mother and then it just leaves you here with the information that you probably didn't want to know. And the feelings you had before the ending kinda lose their effect then. Maybe if the game itself had more creepy elements throughout I would be more prepared :D

But I can feel that you are able to tell powerful stories and work so well with different means of narrative. I just wish that your story defined its genre a bit more clearly, as I expected something totally different after checking the screenshots. Maybe it could be a melancholic one, without such a cruel reveal, or a real horror where horror elements appear more and more often and become quite obvious a bit sooner than you get the ending :)

Finally I think that your game fits a Narrative Game Jam perfectly (and the theme as well, of course) — though maybe I am not the perfect player as I am not that into psychological horrors, I admit that it is neatly done and is a wholesome story :)

Thank you for playing!! I tried not to let it be too gruesome but I guess watching all the horror movies that I do, my tolerance level has been skewed so I'm sorry it was too much for you, I was hoping it wouldn't be. I probably should have put a small warning before the game but I will remember to do it next time.

I'm glad you noticed the  changing in the main characters day-to-day life, I was hoping that during a second play-through, players would pick up on the little hints I dropped both in the artwork and in dialogue.  I wanted to include a bit more in the artwork but I just didn't have the time to draw it and maybe that would have filled in some of the gaps you talked about with the missing or lacking elements.

Thank you so much for playing again!!!! Especially playing to get all endings even though you don't like psychological horrors <3
