First off, thanks for the game—I played right through to the end.
Gameplay
-
I’m not really a 3-D-platformer person. Missing a jump felt pretty harsh: on the last level I kept sliding off the door-handle platform and had to trek the whole route again (and then once more for the fertiliser).
-
Liked how the new mechanics showed up bit by bit—easy to follow.
-
The stamina bar puzzled me; it just made me wait a few seconds here and there.
-
Flying felt nice and the little path-finding sections were fun to solve.
Narrative
-
Most of the play time was the “water + fertiliser → wing fix” loop. This does not develop story for me in any way.
-
The idea of a wounded fly and a lonely flower is cool, but their bond stayed a bit fuzzy. The flower dies, then the fly dies right after, and I wasn’t sure what the story wanted me to feel besides “everything is sad.”
-
The ending left me empty rather than reflective. I couldn’t quite catch the bigger message.
That’s just how it came across to me; hope the feedback helps.
