Nice retro game! I wish there was some sound with it. The only "real" issue I had was that some asteroid coming from the extremities of the screen were not visible before they hit you

Pew-pew.

I really like the graphic for the aiming, the interpolation is nice.  The concept is fun, reminds me of a game on Orisinal

Congrats on finishing your first jam game. The parallax scrolling looks awesome.

I like the targeting reticle and shooting things. The space debris protection theme is awesome. I'm biased though as my last game was Nuke The Moon. I had several occasions where it didn't seem like I had a chance to shoot an asteroid before it flew by and I'm not sure that I actually got space pirates even when I selected them. Maybe I blasted them to fast!
Great start.

Glad you liked the theme. Some bad entity reset code is the source of the bugs you experienced. A good lesson for next time :)

Overall, a great game—though making it more accessible for newcomers could enhance it even further.

The UI / "tutorial" text are definitely far from great 😄. Thanks for playing!

I like this one, particularly the camera panning and sprites zooming in reminds me of old-school games. I think some sound effects and music would help it out a lot.
