Awesome game! Do the enemy spaceships get closer the longer they survive? Score of 34 and then died a sudden death haha. Nice work in such a short amount of time, especially because you did this in a day and a half, per your comments below!

This was a lot of fun! Simple concept, but very entertaining. I did get stuck on the "how to play" screen right off the bat. I just refreshed the page and clicked play, so no big deal. Nice work!

Good game, but it would be great if you could add some sort of progression, as there isn't much to do in its current state.

Maybe adding new enemies upon reaching X score or adding different movement patterns to the ships would make the game feel more challenging.

Not bad!  It'd be nice if the spaceships were at different levels vertically, so you had to aim up/down as well as left/right.  And it's a little hard to tell what's going on with spaceships sneaking up behind you... some sort of minimap might help.

But the basic idea is fun, and I really liked the particle effects when the ships explode.  Nicely done!
