KIORE feels less like a language app and more like a portal into Japanese and Vietnamese culture—which is a good thing if you like learning organically. The mix of news, stories, and games keeps things fresh, and you kind of pick up new words without even realizing it. The vocab tracking is handy, but I wish it were a bit more customizable to focus on the words I struggle with most. Navigation is mostly smooth, though some features take a little too much digging to find. If you’re looking for a structured, textbook-style learning experience, this might not be your best bet. But if you want to absorb the language naturally, almost like you’re living in it, KIORE does a pretty solid job.
