I like the eeriness of the piece. Makes me feel uneasy. Also, I love how you edited the youtube video! How did you get the visuals of the MIDI like that?
Thanks for listening! I use MidiTrail it need Windows and DirectX 9, I also use Virite to make MidiTrail bit transparent and use Lively Wallpaper to show .gif that I quickly drew so I don't spend my time on video editing.
very cool, thank you!
Well big journey, very interesting atmosphere you got here, I don't know if that was intentional but its like you played two different songs on top of each other which creates a big clash and lots of artefacts that may sound very experimental. But at least its very creative. There might be a bit too much reverb on the piano that we lost most of its essence. A part from that good job :)
yes, you are right, I'm experimenting with counter melody, anyway thank you for listening!
Got OoT Shadow Temple vibes among other things from the first track, nicely done! I like how you used panning to create space in this arrangement. It's both harmonious and dissonant and yet fits so well together!
thanks for listening! I'm still wonder how similar the vibe is...
thanks for listening! there a lot of experimentation going on but I mostly do it by ear, but I'm happy with the result is but maybe mixing still bit bad, but I still don't know what am I doing tbh.
I really enjoy the soothing composition. After listening to your other tracks on youtube, I kind of wish you add some of the touhou style synths inside haha. Just a bit curious about how it would sound like in an ambience atmosphere.
Great work nonetheless!
thanks for listening, that is very interesting idea, using Touhou style synth for another layer.
WOW!
Akt 1 is a big, interesting, well-crafted and mesmerizing composition... The leading flute alone is mesmerizing, and the instruments accompanying it make the picture even more beautiful!
Akt 2 - A quieter composition... and no less good! A beginning that seems to say “it's about to get hard”... but the track on the contrary becomes more and more ominous and melancholic!
Overall... It's beautiful! I love long soundtracks: They allow to reveal the melody to the fullest! And you did it!
I can definitely say - that your publication is in my favorites (I'll even save the tracks to my playlist, hehe).
Rawr :>
Thanks for listening, I'm glad you like it.
At first I wanted to create 1 track but then I just make 2 of them since they started to feel becoming a contrast
Nicely done, interesting atmosphere, interesting coposition.
I think on the constructive side, I think the piano maybe sounds a little heavy/MIDI.
I think in terms of space, I would do more for near/far, i.e. drier reverb and more delay for closer things and wetter reverb with less delay for farther things.
Thanks for listening, I will take a note about that
These tracks definitely belong in a JRPG! The ambiance is spot-on, giving off vibes of mystery, worry, and caution. I’m excited to hear more of your future works!
Also, love the visuals in your video!
Thanks for listening, I'm glad you like it
Nice
I am feeling vibes of Schnittke :)
Certainly it makes the melodies far from something of easy listening. I think that the second one being less intense might be a better suiting for the theme as being less distracting. Both are for sure quite atmospheric just like venturing into the places no one should ever venture to.
If you want any advice I would recommend to make instruments less equal in future for this type of compositions.
Good job on composing and finishing!
thanks for listening, I wonder what kind of instruments are you referring to?
Mostly I am referring to the part with flute, cello and piano all together. They are not entirely equal right now of course, but more strong leveling and panning/eq could make magic :)
