Getting error when trying to push an update with butler

I'm getting this error: creating build on remote server:  itch.io API error (400): /wharf/builds: invalid target (bad user)

This is what I'm typing in: butler push C:\Users\Blake\Desktop\UpdateTestBuild\TestGameV4.zip Blake-McKinnon-Productions/update-test:win

I'm just doing a test update before I update a game that I already have on Itch.io and want to make sure it works correctly without wiping the download count but at the moment I can't get it to work at all.

Any help is much appreciated :)

Your user is blakemckinnonproductions, not Blake-McKinnon-Productions. You can get it by going to your profile and checking your URL.

Thank you that worked! can a build that was uploaded through Itch.io's site be updated with butler without losing the download count?

It’s impossible to push to a build on top of a file uploaded via the browser. Deleted files still retain their count in our database though, and your account totals are not adjusted.

Alright, Thank you very much for your help and this amazing site!

Thanks for uploading your game and congrats on having the most popular game on the site right now!

Thanks very much!
