I've been playing this game for a few days now and i fell in love with it again. But recently all my data was lost :(. I've downloaded the save file of the game but it doesn't let me load it. I'm using a school chromebook so I'm wondering if I need an extension to load it or is it just gone forever?

Hello, sorry to hear you lost your data. You can load a savefile into the desktop version of the game but not the browser version. Not sure if you're able to download the game on your school chromebook though. Sorry and good luck

I downloaded this game for Mac, but it seems to use 200% of my CPU! For such a little game, I really wouldn't expect that type of power drain. It seems to be okay in browser, but I can't even use it downloaded as it is just slows my computer way way down and the fans blast off! :( Any way on how to fix this? Thank you!

Why is my to-do list not updating? i did everything on it but now there is no purpose if I don't have anything new. I can't even do the little things at the bottom :(

My Mac refuses to open the application because it can't verify the developer. I thought this was a browser game?

hey, you can play in browser on the main game page. if you want to download and play for mac, right click the app and click "Open" to get past the "Unknown Developer" screen.

the game is so tiny on my desktop (like 10% of the screen) and I can barely see anything, fullscreen would be cool

I'm sorry to hear that :(. It's some kind of browser-based glitch I have never been able to figure out. If you download the game the save files are very stable

Yeah, I have figured.. :')) I guess I'll have to wait until I can actually have my own chromebook/laptop to actually download the game. I am just using my school chromebook for now :((

How do you work with the savegame file that you can download from the browser? Does that let me move between PCs? (Or does it let me move from browser to local install?) Thanks

In the settings menu on PC, there's an "import save file" button you can use to load it in! And yes that should allow u to move between PCs

I'm struggling with the task 'Take a picture of three plants, all grown from the same seed' I've tried taking pictures of three plants with the same seed twice and it's still not doing nothing, if anyone could give any advice that would be great.

are they all on one big shelf? if not try that and click on the shelf to take a picture of them? and make sure its just them in the shot maybe?

i don't know if this is a bug but all of my tiny trees leaves are the colour of the stem until you click on them and it zooms in on them some of them it just stays like that same with some of my ancient ferns

Hi, yep! You can restore your save after downloading the PC or mac version of the game by using the settings menu. There you can import your old save

heya, no idea if this thread is still being answered, but I have absolutely no idea how the game measures light. I put my plants by the window, [Not enough light! :( ] I put my plants away from the window, [This plant is healthy and growing fast :) ] I move the bookshelf they were on on accident and put it back in the same spot it was before, [Not enough light! :( ] I use every shelf position and every other spot to try and keep my garden plant, [Not enough light! :( ].

what? what does this game consider light? clearly not the windows-

Hi!!! I just wanted to say I love this game, I was having some fun with plants as per usual, but while using the nursery, I realized that a lot of my multicoloured flowered Desert Beauty's weren't having their flowers registered as such- Is this a bug or am I just being foolish? Tried to add a picture for reference of one that seems to be a multicoloured flower.

hi! if you go into "settings" (not in the online version, only on desktop), there should be a button you can use to load ur save!
