Hi @willowBySword,

Thank you for providing your save data. We were able to reproduce the bug during our initial testing.

We noticed that you are using the “Standard II” encounter set for this scenario. This set introduces the “24049” environment card into play at the start of the game.

According to “04079b,” when an environment enters play, all other environment cards in play should be discarded. Therefore, when a new environment is revealed, it attempts to discard not only the environment from the “Absorbing Man” set but also “24049.”

However, “24049” is Permanent, and we have a protected code to prevent a Permanent card from being discarded by an effect not originating from the same set. This triggered the protected code.

We have updated our code, and this issue will be fixed in the next version.

You might also wonder why resolving the “04079a” ability to put another environment card into play didn’t cause this issue. This is because the effect to discard each other environment card is tied to “04079b,” which was not in play at that time.
