Playtesting before making the game public

Hello, I am making a game which is now in somewhat playable state but requires a lot of polishing (what I mean is it may have some bugs and balancing problems) so playtesting is needed. This is the first game I'm planning on making public so I was wondering whether I should just post it straightaway and let users know it's in early state (and brace for disappointed comments), or I should first find some people to play it in a closed state and get feedback from them.

And if it's latter, I'd like to know if there's a dedicated board/topic for that because I didn't find anything.

...Get Feedback? It's the very next category after this one, under the same heading.

Right, thanks. I've seen that category but thought it's for something slightly different for some reason, now I went through the posts there and I think that might work
