In PCB design, in order to meet the needs of actual production, silk screen design needs to comply with certain rules:
1. Positioning silk screen of BGA and other devices
In the BGA packaged devices, the devices that cannot be inspected after the SMT is mounted, and the devices that need to be accurately positioned should be screen-printed so that the SMT can be easily mounted after the placement.
2. Special silk screen design
The screen printing wire can be added between the pads which are easy to be short-circuited to prevent short circuit;
When the outer casing is a metal device, if the wire has the possibility of being connected to the metal, the silk screen should be added to prevent short circuit;
Design the silkscreen marking direction on the directional device;
The file name and version of the PCB must be marked on the PCB with silkscreen;
3. Silk screen size requirements
Silk screen width requirements ≥ 7mil, PCB manufacturers can be clearly processed;
The silk screen cannot be overlaid on the PAD of the device, otherwise it will affect the tin.
