Very cute graphics, simple but effective. Same with the animations. And the music is very well chosen. In general, the mood and the tone are great for a game targeting children.
Other than that, it’s a nice version of the fox, chicken and grain logical problem, which is cool. And, while it’s true that it’s short, I don’t see that as a negative point, because it feels complete. It’s a rounded experience, and I appreciate that in a jam game.
As for potential improvements, I’d split some of the dialogues more. I think it’s more friendly and easily readable (and game-ish) to have several consecutive segments of dialogue than one big block of text. Also, I’d place some kind of reward or make something interesting happen on dead-ends. That way, you’d encourage players to be curious and explore the little map, and it wouldn’t be negative if they got lost, because at least they would've found something nice in the process. And, depending on what you want with the game, a mark showing the current position in the map (not real time, only changing from fork to fork) may be nice too.
Overall, this is a nice little game for children, so keep it up! =)
