As the title suggests, what are good platforms, and communities to self publish and ask for reviews of your zine? Zines have a limited reach to begin with, I don’t know anyone who reads them personally but if I did I assume they offer something different from just being a zine.

Are they used for marketing, and where do you share your zines when you publish?

i've never sold zines so im probably not very helpful, but i've personally bought zines mostly on etsy, also in stores that have individual vendors

If you want to sell your zine, Quimbys is an interesting place.  They highlight the zines they get on their instagram. https://www.quimbys.com/

The largest zine community I've seen is on instagram. Just follow the tag #zine and you should find stuff.
