I really like this game! The little spiders made me scream sometimes, i thought it was sad there wasnt any sound effect on the respawn/death, but thats fine, the levels were cool, i figured out how to open the light further way too late, had a lot of fun with this!! I wouldve found it cool, if the big puzzle game had some spider puzzle too, but considering the time you had in this its quite nice level design too! I also agree on the previous comments on the Hitbox, i also found the big screen with small level a bit confusing at the start, so the game doest feel quite as polished sadly. Still, amazing work!

Thank you for playing our game! After the rating period, we'll be working on improving the levels, adding more mechanics, sfx, and polishing in general.

Nice artand music, equally impressive that you did it in 3 days on pygame. Unfortunately, the character moves too slowly, which discourages him from repeating these levels, and his hitboxes should be smaller (in such a view, the hitbox should be on his feet or a little higher, so not to the top of his head).

Thank you for playing the game! yea, we did not have enough time to polish the hitboxes and speed of the player, but I completely agree with your poin

I don't have much to say about this game its truly a masterpiece  , the game is amazing in every aspect from art to gameplay to the level design and the idea behind it...You guys did an excellent job at this and I hope to see you in the next ZenoJam (Also I like how you made all of this in python) a well deserved 5/5 for everything!!!!!!!

Overall it's pretty good work (madlad for doing this in python). I would have loved to be a bit faster, especially in the last level, where i didn't encounter a single ennemy. Made me think of sokoban with a little twist. Good job!

Thank you for your reply.

I wasn't the one who built the Levels, but I had the same toughts. 😂

I loved the atmosphere and the premise. I would have liked to see the controls on the start screen as it took me too long to realize you can expand your light. The character's speed and vision range also makes maze layouts tedious and confusing. Using the light to manipulate the bug's locations is a great mechanic for keeping the tension, however, and I enjoyed most of the levels.

Thank you for playing our game, and also for the feedback! yes, that's true, there was supposed to be a tutorial level, and more mechanics but we ran short of time! great addition, we'll work on that after the rating period is over
