super fun concept! some original ideas! you should definitely keep working on this

Interesting gameplay ideas with the enemy conversion and weapon types. Not really sure how this adheres to the theme, but good job on completing the game!

Pretty cool take on the Vampire Survivor "genre". 
Might be just me but I didn't find a connection with the gamejam's theme "going up"

I love the concept and the gameplay, the fact of having to walk towards the enemy to shoot him makes the game more difficult and interesting, as they have already said, I would also like to have more than 4 weapons to be able to change them during the game, which Very good, I had a lot of fun playing your game.

Overall a fun game. The weapons were straightforward to use and the different enemies provided variety. I liked that you had to move towards the enemy for most attacks.

From here, I'd suggest adding the ability to fire syringes diagonally as well as being able to have more than 4 weapons. (maybe a discard button?)
