As mentioned below, this would be an excellent mobile game, fun gameplay loop and cute minimalistic art
A simple idea, could be good mobile game maybe?
might make it a mobile game
Solid entry! I'm surprised by how well you've executed this simple concept. Going into this I assumed the "AI shoots, you move" idea might end up dull, but this is a fantastic take on this. I felt like you hit the perfect balance with the AI's skills they don't feel frustrating to work with but also require you to consider how your own positioning and situation will impact what it goes to target. There were a few times where it went to aim at someone behind the central wall which I found really interesting and felt like an intuitive natural outcome to this system. Great job!
I made a similar game for two players in a game jam, two weeks ago hahaha.
I like how the collaboration with AI is integrated and it mixes a "puzzle game" and a reaction challenge.
I'd have liked multiple levels (other positions for the block in the middle).
Good work
clean simple sprites do the job quite well!
I'm noticing that AI sometimes shoots before it full turned to enemy. Despite that bullets fly straight to it as if direction I'm fasing doesn't mater.
Realized this bug, but didnt have time to fix it before the deadline
This is a cool idea. Though, the implementation might be a bit too simple. The AI always takes a perfect shot with 100% accuracy that never misses. It's so perfect that it shoots in a direction before the barrel of the cannon fully rotates. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, buuuuuut maybe your main idea can be taken a bit further and in a more interesting direction. Nonetheless, well done on your game! Just a few ideas to consider:
What if the player moving around messed up the AI's accuracy?
What if bullets bounced off of the wall? (and how would the AI handle this?)
What if the AI waited until the player placed itself in a position that allows the AI to line up an optimal shot? (i.e: shoot a bullet through multiple enemies at once)
Good idea I might make a update and finish the game after the voting is over
I really like the game and its concept! It’s very simple, but adds a twist to normal bullet hell games by taking control of the game away from the player. Great job!
Cool little game, easy to understand! Well done :D
ver y cool :)
Easy to understand, plays without problems. I like that you can push enemies :D I think that's a nice detail. The chromatic aberration effect is a nice touch, too. The movement feels a bit sticky.
Cool game, the only thing you need to improve is turret rotation because when you fire a bullet it fires before your turret rotates. Also can you try and rate my game pls :)
I will :)
Cool I liked that you can hit multiple enemies at once. The difficulty increased a bit too slowly in my opinion but it wasnt anything major.
Although I don't see how this fits the "Collaborating" with A.I. brief, i do like to shoot things. WOWIEEEEEEEEE
Well executed idea. The game is also surprisingly addictive. Good Job!
Simple but interesting, good job on it.
