A very clever use of the theme, and a pretty fun game to go along with it. Usually games like this have a tendency to get too easy, but I think this one's difficulty curve was alright - I got to around day 10 (not entirely sure, it should show you on the death screen). I feel like this is a game where you're meant to make a base, but with how zoomed in the screen is, how bullets are stopped by walls (I recall) and how slow it is to collect rocks, it doesn't really lend itself to base building, with my tactic being to just collect stone and place spikes in the way of the enemy. I think the potential could've been bigger, but I still played until the end, so well done!
Thanks for the feedback! It all means a lot, you made very valid points. :P
Fun and simple! Nice survival game. Music would add a bit :)
Yeah, your right, it would, thanks for playing!
Nice, but the sound is a bit strange, and the game at first feels slow and not fun. Anyway, nice job!
I love the fact that you asked an AI about what to do :D also nice job for your first game jam!
I really appreciate the sound effects XD
A lot going on - would prefer just moving around and having rest of controls with just mouse with some extra UI :) Either way, had fun - great job <3
Creative use of the theme! Would love to see you do a bunch more AI suggested mini-games, like this one and put them all together in a warioware like game. Overall pretty nice! Art is cute too.
The game loop is simple but fun, Instead of a heafty tutorial page, I think I would want the game to teach me the mechanics. Music would ad more depth, and when night comes maybe a change in color over the screen could act as night time a bit better than the screen just getting grey. Good job :)
Good game, at first didn't notice that if was made using AI's suggestion/response. Would be much better with background music, well done anyway
I like the simple grapics and single resource for all upgrades/structures. The gathering could be a bit faster. Also some ui indicating what structure / upgrade is available would be very helpful.
Nice Game !
Slow at the start, then it gets really fun!! Awesome job
Nice little survival game! Loved the sound effects xD
It would have been good to be able to see the prices of everything inside of the game though.
Good Game!
I like the concept, it plays well, and everything is coherent together! It does get challenging, but at a good rate! I still arn’t sure if I like the fact that the ennemies come always from the same side, but I do like that they spawn in a day-light cycle (a really creative addition!) I do think having a background music would’ve been really dope, but the minecraft-inspired (right?) sound effect are really funny and add a lots to the game.
GG
this game really got me addicted for quite some time, simple yet pretty fun gameplay. i especially like the sound effects, these are truly the best
Really fun game! I also like the approach you took on the theme.
Thanks! :D
That got challenging fast! xD Fun idea and well done!
Thanks!
Interesting concept! I got a bit lost with the UI but otherwise cool concept, and cool use of AI to generate a game idea haha
Thanks. :) If I ever remake this I'll have to do something about the UI, your the second person to mention it. :/
:) I think it's mainly that you need to press space to see the tutorial ( to remind the price and short cut to things ) but you need to click with the mouse to see the next " slides" so I was always pressing multiple times space when I should click with the mouse ^^' and maybe pause the game when pressing space would have been easier at the beginning. But that's just " polish" , otherwise cool idea :)
Thanks for the feedback! If I ever remake the game, I will try to do these things. :)
Game looks great but it's not on topic. I like the sound effects. Did you make it by yourself?
I did make the sound effects myself and it IS if you read the description you would know the whole idea of the game stimmed from what an AI said.
-- Thanks for the feedback anyways, glad you like it. :D
noice
Thanks!
