Fun game, very simple. The only big thing is that it's wayyyy too hard. If that's what you're going for then fair enough. An easy way to fix the difficulty would either be to slow the AI down or have a slower difficulty curve (for example the third jump is really hard but the one with just the hallway of spikes then laser for AI is much easier. So put the easier stuff first then harder. This would mean you'd need checkpoints after a section, maybe just have it be levels-easy, medium, and hard). This gives me Geometry Dash vibes so maybe a practice mode and pairing the AI's movement to the music would be really cool (also super hard to finish in a Jam but still it's an idea). Overall, cool game just needs a better difficulty curve. :)

A great precision platformer with an interesting AI mechanic! I found it a little hard to understand at first, I feel like the tutorial could benefit from some kind of graphical / image explanation of the shift mechanic rather than a longer text description.

I had an idea about checkpoints but because I love hard platformers(even if difficulty feels unfair) and I wasn't sure about difficulty so I decided not to add them.

bruh its too diffcult for me to time my jump, then press L-shift right in time to land on the platform lol. Nice game though!

I think the difficulty isn't nearly as much the problem as is the length of level(s. It took me long enough to get past a few obstacles in the first level only to then realise there's more.

But I'm a difficult platform enjoyer myself (completed Celeste as well), so I had fun. It's definitely a great gameplay concept!

The idea is great. It fits the topic. I like that there is a tutorial. Visuals could be improved, maybe add a few more colors or details here and there? The sounds are also very solid. The biggest problem is definitely the difficulty. I am not that good at platformers so it was very hard for me, but the game idea is there. Just too difficult.  Also, the hitboxes seem weird but maybe that is just me.  Overall, not a bad game, just, not for me :)

It would be awesome if you could play and rate my game as well!

- camera fast following us can make precision platformers harder

- cool music and SFX

- Wallclimbing feels good

- I can't swap. I guess AZERTY again...

If you think about, divide camera into areas instead of following player would really impove it)

Sorry, I always play with the same bind, so I always forget about other layouts and binds. I added W for jump only in the end and also completely forgot about arrow keys)

I wish you had a few easier levels at the start for people who suck at platformers like me! 

Absolutely love the game though, super clever mechanic, clean visuals, and great level design! 5/5 good job dude!

Yeah, I always ending up making my platformers very hard for people to play. When I try to think of interesting level I always making it too hard, because I play a lot of platformers so I used to hard levels(I even have all achivements in Celeste XD)

It's Definity a little hard but fun.

Its art is simple yet effective.

I like the sounds/music.

The controls are better than my game.

Its a little hard to dash and avoid the spikes but overall.
