That's how chess is played. We are doing it wrong all the time xD
Had a nice round against the AI.

Submitted (1 edit)

The gameplay was quite simple, yet predicting what the ai is going to choose in rock paper scissor wasnt to hard (if it is completely random, i just was very lucky). the ai didnt make a move the whole playthrough...

i dont see the collaborate with ai part tho

BUT, nice graphics and mood, they were very on point

Developer

I was thinking about would this be a collaboration with ai or not, but after I look up "chess collab" online there were few results like just collaborate in a chess match together so I believed this would work.

But I do understand for those who doesn't view this as a collaboration.

Really nice idea! Felt good to play, and the art is appealing! Well done :D

The game is really really simple, i mistook the king for the queen and just attacked with him the whole time haha, the game is really good, love it a lot because of its simplicity, i can see this as a mobile game ngl, maybe work on that a bit. Great game! You can be proud of yourself!

Very chill game. The art style and the music add a lot to the atmosphere. Good job with the AI as well.

I can't see the collaboration aspect of the game, and there are some weird camera aspect issues with fullscreen mode, but regardless the game is still charming.

Love how you twist chess around of somewhat snooker ^^ With the good old stone I won 90% of the time but maybe that is incredible luck :D

That was really well made, I loved every second of it, and it was filled with creativity, nice job!

love all people remake chess but this one is very well made !

Super cool graphics, unexpecting take on the standard chess game! Do all the figures have different properties?

A very unusual way to play chess. The randomness can sometimes be frustrating especially when you lose a game of RPS 7 times in a row. Fun game nonetheless.

This game was really fun to play, a bit easy I think but still really fun, good job!

Fun take on chess. Really enjoyed it

The only I thing I think it’s missing is a health bar on the pieces so we can plan the next move.

Great idea but I don't understand the rock paper scissors part, it does not really add anything to the gameplay. Just having you and the IA take turns at flicking would have been better. I would have liked you to explore more of the flicking the chess pieces mechanic as well.

Developer

I agree that the Rock Paper Scissors may not be much necessary. I appreciated the feedback, and I would explore more of the chess mechanic as well.
