Really nice and well done concept, though I found that it was pretty slow paced. I think it would be more fun if there were more enemies near the beginning. Also the player has a lot of health (maybe too much?).

quite addictive good gameplay but the camera is a bit confussing and I don't get the theme unless I'm just being an arse.

The failure of having your ship destroyed means that you operate a faster, stronger ship, and then an extremely powerful astronaut,  so by failing you become more powerful.

so I was being an arse!

Really fun to go around and explode large numbers of ships -- great job!

Great job, I like the movement a lot! Super unique. I also like that arcadey feel to it (Pixel art, sound effects, music, etc.). Overall, a pretty fun and simple game!

Submitted

Nice job, the sliding movement is tough, but that makes it more fun! Maybe a scoring system would be cool when destroying other ships though? Just a thought, but overall nicely done!

Love the name. Brings me back to games like Galaga or Asteroids. Nice music and the sounds make it very satisfying to explodify other ships. The only problem I had was at first I was kind of confused when I moved off camera, thought I was dying at first and restarting the level but after a bit I caught on. Excellent job!

Nice job! The movement and shooting felt really good. A little slow to start but soon had me boosting around like a mad thing.

Great movement, feels amazing to play and move around.

I did find the mechanic where you teleport to the other side of the screen when you go out of it kind of weird, but I decided to ramp up huge speed which was fun.

Well done!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! The teleport mechanic was inspired by asteroids, but in hindsight it might've been difficult to comprehend in a normal fast paced game.

Cool game! I enjoyed having the weapon cause some kickback, that was a nice touch. The art was really nice and I enjoyed all of the different ship designs.

If you wanted to improve, I suggest having some form of enemy indicator on screen to show where the enemies are. I also suggest increasing the spawn rate some, the game felt like it started just a little bit to slow.

Overall, nice game!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! I was planning on adding the indicators, but the rugby was on so I skipped that bit :D. I also agree the game was a bit slow.

Great game,  I love the art and idea, but enemy distribution is a bit strange. In some areas there were none, but in other areas they were a lot more. It's a minor complaint, it is a great game. :D

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah the enemy distribution is mostly random, with each wave having a set amount, I probably should have set specific enemies that would spawn in each wave.

Submitted

It works now, nice pixel art. character movement is a little sloppy and it a bit easy. maybe try bumping up the enemies getting spawned in the waves

Your game idea look really nice but I can't run your game. maybe try making a webgl build or send a .zip folder of your games .exe, .dll, etc

Developer(+1)

fixed the issue, hope it works now.
