Really cool. I feel like when your speed increases(after you die) you should be able to see more. Anyways, great game.

Nice game! fun to play.
It fits the theme well by increasing the stats when the player dies, but at some point I found myself flying over the entire level. To me, it was a bit too much. Maybe you should have set a lower maximum.
Or I should have died less often ;)

I ended up stuck on the key. It told me I was wrong, but the input was no longer doing anything.

Thanks I noticed that the maximums are to high and you found a bug I have never noticed bevor thanks for it normaly you jump down to that key and you get killed by an enemy I have to fix it as fast as possible i am sorry for that issue

A cute game, but the platforming felt a little weird to me. :P Biggest complaint was the edges of those platforms xD

I like that the game premise is very simple to understand and know what is happening. I think that visuals can improve if pixel density in objects is always constant cuz it looks a bit off to me when there are pixels with the same size of the player. I think you were very creative by implemnting unque buffs when dying in different situations.

Fits the theme pretty well and it was a good twist with the golden key.

I found that the spike/pink block colliders were a bit bigger than you'd expect. And I think the game just stopped when I touched the green portal.

Nice take on the theme and the approach to this game! Here's the feedback I have for it:

Pros:

  • The theme for it was pretty nice
  •  I like how the player increased in stats after the multiple deaths
  • The music was pretty nice and chill for the game.

Cons:

  • The art was overall inconsistent to me. The platform, the beginning of the door, the spikes were all WAY bigger than everything even the size of the background.          Its best to usually have the platforms and characters with a suitable pixels per unit in Unity so it fits just right.
  • The text was mismatching as well. Even though it wasn't really much of a problem with game wise, it would of been better to match the text as pixel art along with a pixel art game.
  • The controls were a bit too fast and the jumping was kind of high as I kept dieing lots of times by the spikes.
  • I didn't like that I had to start all over every time I died. I would suggest adding checkpoints in order to allow players to be able to beat the game.


Overall, this game was really nice and with a bit of polishing, this game can be even better. Nice work on the game!

The camera should be a little bit zoomed out, i wasn't able to see the platform i was jumping on

The only complaints that i have is that you could have made the player faster from the start and you you hit a wall you basically have infinite jumps (unless that's intended, because most of the things i thought they were bugs were actually intended) but other than that this game is pretty good!! =D

Nice idea to get upgrades when you did not make it.

Visuals are good also.

And most important it was fun to play :)!

Maybe a tip to make the menu opties and buttons a bit bigger or resolution dependent. On my 4k screen they were very small.

But still cool :)!

The start is pretty interesting. I got to the point of getting the green key and getting back to the door but wasn't sure where to go from there. I do like how powerful the jump gets. Congrats on finishing for the jam :)

Thanks for the feedback Just go to the door and jump left as far as you can than there should be a platform with an portal and than you finished the game

Sad to say I got stuck, not sure how to progress past the pink spikes. Cool idea though, love getting upgrades after dying :)

I did get stuck after the red enemy, what do you have to do there o.O but I like the art and the concept. First i tought the controls wern'r that responsive but that changed of corse :P
