Amazing art. The game is really creative and fun to play. At the beginning, I had some confusion about the game but when I understood it, it became really fun! Amazing work!
Wow, this is a really good game! The graphics were stellar and the gameplay was great too - especially when it really got going and a pileup started. The sounds as feedback were nice too, although they did get a little grating at times. Another thing is that the cars felt a bit too smart at times, managing to avoid crashes - that probably helped with the difficulty, but it kind of took away from the chaos of it all. Still, I really enjoyed playing this, so nice one!

Really fun game with stunning pixel art. I was a bit shocked when i saw that cars could run over pedestrians.
I have nothing more to say, except that i did not unterstand how it relates to the jams topic.

Thanks a lot!! For the picnic, I would recommend trying it with the blue truck instead of the smaller cars, it should be easier :D

its just a simple and nice game, il say that the sound effects were a bit to much, when the cars started to pile up the sound effect did the same... and i had to mute.

WOAH! This is an incredible game, especially given the time frame! Taking a simple idea, flipping it on its head and polishing it more than a bowling ball at a DIY store is an amazing way to make a game! Art is great, game is fun, and the music is amazing. I honestly have no nit-picks here.

Crashing the cars is sooo satisfying and it is a really enjoyable polished game.

Very good! Sans the context of other road crossing games, I don't think this plays with winning or losing in an interesting way...
But... my expectation was "I'll have to commit suicide by running into a car". And when the car crashed I was genuinely shocked; I love it.
Simple to play but satisfying, short, well polished, funny. It's a perfect jam game :).
This has been the best game I played so far. LOVE the art. LOVE the concept. LOVE that stanky beat! I love as well how the game lends itself to comboing. So much depth in such a small game! Really well done and I expect to see you in the top 25 for sure.

A short, fun game. The only problem I noticed was that cars eventually stopped spawning if you managed to get every road blocked. Otherwise, it's excellent work! I can imagine what later levels might look like with other cars, obstacles, and whatnot.
Okay I ADORE THIS GAME ! This is just pure fun and a nice idea ! The simplicity is there and the charm too, so creative. Well done, I feel like I don't have great ideas now haha !
Cool game, nice graphics! The game as a whole was really polished and I liked the arcade aesthetic. The gameplay was pretty fun too, I managed to block off an entire road and it was fun just watching the cars pile up. Only issue is the relation to the theme seems shaky at best. Since the jam theme is failure is progress, the first thing I did was try and get run over by a car, but since you never get damaged, and the cars avoid you, you never really fail? The gameplay objective is just slightly shifted to causing car pileups, and failure isn't really an element there. Overall though, my only complaints about the game are in relation to some arbitrary jam theme, taken in a vacuum this game is great, especially since you made it in 3 days!
Thanks a lot for the feedback! I see what you're saying about the jam theme. We focused on the "Let's mess with the concepts of winning and losing" part of the theme, and I would say it does fit this part of the theme because the objective is very different compared to the games it's based on. However, in terms of the "Failure is progress" part of the theme, you are right it doesn't really fit that part because there is no way to fail. I'm glad you liked the game anyway! :D
I loved it.
One of the best games I've played so far, great job. At first I though - Ok it's Crossy Road, then I got to the top with no points LOL. Those drivers really didn't want to run the cat over. Great effort and a lovely take on the theme!
