Combined dev experience of all team members (3 people) is around 8-10 months. This is also our first ever game jam.
How does your game relate to the theme?
The player is a flower that can release pheromone clouds. The clouds can charm insects. Charmed insects will go to the flower and get devoured! To survive, the player HAS to charm insects to survive. Upgrades also rely on the charming pheromone clouds aspect.
Specify any and all pre-made assets in your submission.
A few sound effects (Insects buzzing, night crickets, leaf crunch sound and one "chomp" sound) were taken from Pixabay (Link in itch game page description). A background painting from our friend Alix (Was not working on the project with us, but he provided a photo of one of his previous paintings). All of the other assets were made during the game jam.

Only a couple things this game needs to improve on:
- More skill based shooting
- Make it clearer how much the upgrade will affect the game (like + ?% size/duration or whatever.)
- Perhaps some other type of gameplay? Instead of waves and then you lose all your upgrades
- The art is good, but It should look like real life, especially since so many of the assets are photos of real things. Perhaps it's the lighting or the foreground IDRK. Maybe if the sky were a real sky? Or If the wind chimes and bottle were gone? ยฏ\_(ใ)_/ยฏ
Huh the flower isn't actually in the pot for some reason?
Actually one of the more fun games. I got to day 20 before I lost. I really like the clay art style as well!

This art direction looks epic ! I cant seem to be able to run the game in webgl tho : ( It might just be my pc
Thanks! Maybe the browser you're using isn't supported? The game runs fine on firefox and chrome, but we haven't tested other browsers.
