I think you nailed the concept of horror very well! You can limit information to create suspense and subvert expectations to create surprise, and this game does both. The lack of visibility means the player always feels powerless and doesn't know anything. The monster being visible gives people a false sense of security "oh it's far away" but the sudden zoom in if you get too close is unexpected and thus scary. The sounds definitely help. I like that you are forced to keep moving because you have limited time, causing stress too. Overall, you achieved what you were going for!
