Honestly very fun I love how its a mix of an action game and sort of a metroidvania, the only thing that could improve this could be a map or more varied upgrades.

Hey, impressive considering you got your teeth stolen! It's a fully functional game with some really nice UI stuff (the settings of course, but also that really nice fade-in text whenever you get close to a fire and it says press E to rest...it soothes my soul). My gameplay concerns are pretty much the same as the devs below - some variety and progression, so there's a point to the dungeon crawling and not just endless snowball chucking. know you're gonna try to finish it up sometime soon, so when you do, be sure to update the game listing as well. Can't wait to see what stuff you'll implement!

The game is simple but was still fun to play. Saving position at a campfire is nice as it feels like I am making progress and I did pretty well, Its very rare to have settings in a game jam so i'll give props to that lol.

I'm aware that you didn't have much time so only a few suggestions if you come back to develop this game. It need a map /  mini-map to help navigate as all the room start to feel the same and the level needs some colour variation. A score of rooms cleared or enemies defeated would be cool too and at one point I had infinite rest charged up. My character was stuck outside the map or in walls a couple of times. Checkout my game if you get the chance.
