My PC is pretty low end, which means that again, this game was diffucult for it to play. Even after setting quality to low.

I couldn't really race because of that, kept clipping through objects and even falling through the map :P (that reset button was all that kept me going) Managed to finish the race dead-last, while the expert AI were all doing extra laps. *sigh*

At least the game looks pretty, and it's a funny concept. Sorry I couldn't do a better review.

Hi there! I'm so sorry you had a bad experience playing this game. I do agree that the game jam build is a bit too graphically intensive, mainly due to the fact I didn't have much time to do optimization before the submission was made.
All of the issues you mentioned; difficult AI, collision issues and poor controls should be fixed in the next version of the game which will be released later today at around 6pm BST!
I hope you'll stick around for the full game, in which I'll keep low-end hardware in mind and will do my utmost to make sure anybody and everybody will play it :)
Thank you!

Wow! Super impressive submission! If anything, the controls were tough to master on keyboard, and it was hard to tell when I was handbraking and how exactly it was helping. Wonderful work!

Hi there! Thanks so much for playing!!

After the game jam is over, I'll be releasing a patch that makes the cats handling a little easier for keyboard users! I should also remove the handbrake as it makes turning harder rather than easier, as the cats will start drifting automatically!

Thanks again! Hope you'll stick around for the full version!

Who new Cats handle like Pigs ;)

Great idea for a racing game with music suiting the theme , that said I had a hard time finishing a race due to the cat getting stuck on it's side or in the hedge.

Cheers for the feedback! I'll make sure to add some text that shows the reset button when a player is stuck :)

This is fun and cool, it's crazy you could make a great game in a week! :o The way you make a cat sound like a car is hilarious to me xD

But the controls aren't good enough, it looks easy to control when i saw this on your twitter. The map design is a bit confusing, the camera also moving too forward, and performance issues.

That's it, great game! I like it! Keep up the good work! :D

Hey man, cheers for the kind words and constructive feedback!
I'll definitely give the performance a look at - have you tried switching the quality settings in the Settings menu?
Controls have always been an issue, especially when using keyboard.. so i'll keep improving!
With the map, were you getting lost too much? Should I add more directions?

Thanks again!

Nice :D

I've tried to change the quality to low, but still not getting 30 fps. And the part i confused was after the park with zig zag track. I think that's it.

Developer(+1)

Okay, gotcha! I'll dial down the graphics, and I'll add some directional arrows to the city park !
Cheers for the feedback mate
