This game was very nicely done! The simplicity of the game really made it enjoyable, and nothing really stood out of place! Great job!

Thanks man, are feedbacks like your's that help me go on in this game development adventure :)

Got to 462. Would have liked to have gotten to 2048 ;). Game was well made and the little explosion effect was nice. A little music would be nice if you had more time.

Developer

Thank for the feedback!! Yes I agree, maybe a soundtrack would help to get involved... :)

Cool game, having the buttons which do stuff was a nice addition, although I am a little confused as to where the winning is losing is? As far as I can tell the buttons that restart/quit it don't give extra points.

Despite that, it is still a nice and fun game that I spent some time on. Well Done!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback and for playing the game :)
The "winning is losing" is that you've to lose to win the game...I know it's not easy to understand (my bad not yours) but it's hard to make an extreme minimal game, it's my first try so I'll make tresure of your opinion ;)

Don't feel bad! It's my first game jam as well, and everyone who submitted has done super well. Your game was one of the top ones and you did very well for a minimal game.

Developer

Thanks man I really appreciate your support :)

I wasn't sure exactly how to play, it was definitely relaxing and casual though. All I know is that I pressed buttons and the colors moved around and gave me points. I just couldn't see the blocks move and figure out if there was a good way to move them around to get more points. And it seemed like some blocks would just disappear and give me points without being the same color. Maybe they were not doing that, but that's just how it appeared at times.

I think if the game had more visible movement and such it would be more fun. And if it had some audio, even if it was just basic audio. The visuals were nice but feel like they could use a bump in polish. Look a little more stylish, they just feel flat right now; I do also love how you did the main menu area.

Yes I know that it's hard do understand, I could made a tutorial with some images explaning all the gameplay and I admit that the transition animation was an idea I had.
At the end I decided to be as minimal as I could...from the start menu to the gameplay but I added a spoiler to the game main page just to help who wasn't able to understand it!
Anyway thanks for the feedback, it's very helpfull to know what others think about the game I made and do better choices next time :)

P.s. the game is supposed to be played with swipes on mobile or with arrows on pc (going up mean that all the blocks will go up and if there are two blocks with the same color, than they will merge and become another color), every time you move, a new initial colored block appear with a simple particle effect. The squares on the top top that never change, are the menu (close app, reset, go back of one move, home).

Another one of those weird entries that you feel shouldn't be there and/or are not part of the jam

Developer

Why not O.o? You win when you lose...that's the main theme of the jam...
