Top down shooter games are my favorite!! I really like that you had a boss at the end. All you needed was the boss health. Check out my game and you will see what I mean by boss health.

Nice game, the bullets comming back making a bullet fest really funny xD
I found a spot where I can keep shooting and my bullets never hit me and just stood there until the final boss, who was pretty challenge! Nice game!

Developer

Haha glad you enjoyed it! Yeah the bullets have a different despawn timer until they hit the edge of the screen. Might be worth me adding maximum bounces or just more enemies that shoot directly at you to keep you moving constantly

Really cool idea with getting shot with your own bullets from behind!

And I love the boss, so silly cute

Thanks for the feedback! Haha I think the bosses animation controller just plays whatever it likes sometimes, always seems to end up doing the dancing-like animation haha

Interesting use of the theme in your mechanics, simple yet effective. As you've stated on your page, enemies that reflect your projectiles at the front would have been cool ^^

Developer

Thanks for the feedback, I wanted to further the theme by having you play as a corrupt king with an entire kingdom of people and monsters trying to overthrow you. Some of the enemies being a mob of angry villagers but I didn't get time to add a story, tutorial and those enemy types.
