Great use of theme, and nice cosy little cafe. I liked what I saw outside through the window as well - is it possible to go outside? I think a game like this has social importance, making us realise the amount of waste we produce, what's recyclable and what isn't. I can see it being used as a teaching tool for kids.
By the way, we're a team of Australian women and we were excited to see that you're doing cool things in WA! Just wanted to reach out and say hi ;)
Hi :)
Unfortunately, at this stage you can't go outside. I wanted to, but the assets I used for the walls look terrible on the other side and didn't have time to fix it. But I'll def aim to add with an update.
Yeah, I'm a solo dev in WA, and always keen to join teams for game jams. If you have an opening for a future one, I'd be keen to contribute.
I enjoyed the location the game too. Had little problem goin near a trash bin while holdin items, because can happen sometimes that the object is counted in the wrong bin. Anyway overall is a good game!
Nice little French cafe experience :) Just not enough back muscles hahaha, would've really enjoyed using that inconspicuous vacuum cleaner
A really nice simple game that matches the theme well! I was a little bit unsure which bins to put some of the items and also wasn't able to pick things up with my left hand on the Oculus Quest 1, but overall good job!
Hi, thanks for giving it a go.
Sadly, the controls are a known issue. They bugged out towards the end on the creation and broke. I'll be fixing it over the next week and upload a new version for people where you can pick up items and teleport with both hands.
First of all Awesome cover!
Uber use of theme implementation. At first, I was really thinking about what is recyclable and what is not. Then I started to teleport around and clean everything... and then I remembered the game title, and the throwing fun has begun. Had fun! I can see that for free in queststore with more levels and more recycle bins sponsored by facebook/goverment/lil dicky :).
Thanks for checking it out, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I might build on the game a little and release online.
For the cover I used the AI image generator MidJourney. Sometimes I can get some gold when using it.
It was pretty fun for such a simple concept! The environment was done well, and it was quite relaxing just sorting and throwing away trash.
Cute little experience. I couldn't get grabbing to work on my left hand, and I didn't realize coffee cups weren't recyclable!
Hi, thanks for giving it a go.
Yes, I think there was a big shock in the real-world when ppl found out you can't recycle takeaway cups. But I think they big companies are working on it. Like biodegradable cups.

Wanted to give it a try but unfortunately there is no input for me (Valve Index).
Hi, so sorry that happened.
Unfortunately, it's really hard to get a hold of a Valve Index in Australia. Because of that, I haven't managed to get one myself just yet. I'm waiting for the next time they're available. Fingers crossed.
Thanks for trying to give it a go though :)
No problem !
In that case I wish you the best of luck to get one :)
