Very cute .. reminded me of a game I made (and loved) ten years ago.

Nice to see a good twist on the theme

Well done!

Thanks, Warped Imagination! I'm happy it brought some memories back to you :)

Care to share your game if it's still around?

Unfortunately it went the way of the Dodo .. but you gave a robot a set of commands to perform so that he could get to his teddy bear

hehe cool!

Very, very cute game, I love the little music, the win confetti VFX, and the animation the objects doe when appearing and disappearing. However, I was confused when I got the key, I didn't notice that it was on my left wrist at first. Also, some objects didn't disappear well between the levels (but nothing a little patch can't fix). I really liked the fact that there was a timer and an attempt counter, it makes sens especially in this kind of games. I would have loved more challenging levels ^^. I also noticed that you tried to develop/build it for WebXR, could you tell me more about it ? Why this decisions ?

If you polish it with more VR interactions like kokutouchichi said, it will be a great little game !

An overall lovely and great game, good job ! I hope to see you in next VR game jams !

Yaaaay congratz for finishing and thanks for the feedback!

R: Yep! I wanted to build something more democratized and easy to access, I've limited myself to a lot of things to have good performance... HOWEVER, I've used some async methods and this destroyed the final result since the WebGL export doesn't work correctly with those, I figured that out later only. Well, I'll change the logic to use Coroutines and see if that fixes the sync issues, and hopefully, I'll be able to deploy the WebXR version.

Cute looking Game and cool Idea.
Sadly I could not play it as there was no input for me :(
(SteamVR - Valve Index)

Thanks, CrazyFish!

I've added support to Valve Index in a post-jam update (v1.1). If you want to give it another try check it out: https://protofun.itch.io/webxr-dollhouse-escape

Thanks I now got to play it and its really cute.
At first I was a little confused rather the directions are from my or his perspective but once I figured it out I literally rushed through the levels. It was a lot of fun. I was even hoping for some more and a bit more challenging levels.

Good job, well made.

Cute and easy to pick up and play. I really like games that make you feel big and god like manipulating little people. I wish there was a little more interactivity between the player and the doll, I really wanted to pick him up or pet him or something.

I did run into a couple bugs with locks staying perpetually through levels and the menu falling away and me having to restart the game. I got stuck on level 4 though, no matter what I tried after picking up the key he wouldn't unlock the door or complete the level.

Great effort, would love to play again with those bugs nipped and if you let me pet the little guy.

Thanks for the feedback, kokutouchichi! Yeah, I didn't have the time to fix the menu and the padlock bugs.

I loved your idea of picking up the doll to pet it! And I'll also have a look at level 4.

Guess what, in the v1.2 you can interact with the doll ;)
