What external assets did you use in this jam?
All Sky -sky box asset pack-https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/2d/textures-materials/sky/allsky-free-10-s...

Create with VR unity course library

P dollar algorithm -https://github.com/DaVikingCode/PDollar-Unity

What was your favorite part of this jam?
I learned a lot of new things that i didnt think i could manage in such a short time, and for once I stuck to my original concept and story and didnt clutter it up with too many layers. I just started learning VR development in December so it feels so great to know i can actually build something playable.

What was the hardest part of this jam for you?
I had this gesture recognition asset i wanted to use but apparently its deprecated and doesnt work, has even been removed from the asset store. So i had to make my own vr gesture recognition system in time to finish this jam T_T. it was hard but it was so worth it in the end. I had considered changing the mechanics that required the gesture algo, but i decided to push myself a little. it was tough but im so glad i did, because i have my own reusable gesture recognition asset now!

What resources/tutorials do you wish you had when making this game?
More sound effects and an airlink cable so i could playtest without having to build each time. An extra pair of hands on the level design would have been great too

I couldn't get the gesture recognition to work and allow me to teleport. And I couldn't get the telekinesis working either :( I pressed all the buttons and tried everything but unfortunately I was just stuck standing in the room :(

hi koku, I'm sorry, I can't believe I forgot to add that the trigger button has to be pressed down for gesture recognition to work. I'll add it to the game description now. Also, for the telekinesis, it only works on small objects in the room and it seems to be working on my device, could you please let me know what device you tried the game on?

I tried on Quest 2, I did hold down the trigger button and I got the purple circle going. But I tried every variation of that oval. Forwards and backwards, big and small and it didnt work for me.

Developer

sorry,  i really have to work on the gesture recognition algo a lot more. thanks for trying my game though T-T
