This was probably the game that had the most polished mechanics I've played so far in the jam. Everything made sense and worked once you figured out how to use each machine. There was definitely a bit of information overload at the beginning and me putting things in places they dont belong and dropping items through the floor but once I figured out what I had to do, it was very straight forward. Perhaps a bit too on the nail amazon worker though? The mechanics were absolutely solid, so solid and convincing that its like a packaging plant simulator...which doesn't sound fun? I think with these great mechanics you could introduce something silly or funny to be packaging and sending out, or have some kind of funny manager that is watching you mess up and has some hilarious quips and comments to say while you play. Super solid entry, great polish!
I loved the mechanics of opening and closing the packing machines and visually found it very clean , my only criticism was the lack of music in the background, though the rest of the sounds were very nice
Great work! Game is clear and easy to understand, although it took me a few parcels to realise that I was meant to be wrapping some items individually based on the list and where to do that.
I completed two shifts of the game so it is clear there is replayability, although it may get a little boring after a couple shifts unless it had some kind of other goal and objective or change in difficulty and complexity.
Mechanics work perfectly though. I even tried to purposely break them after I finished with it but the only issue I could cause was get the door on the wrap machine to disappear and act up after putting one of the boxes into it or multiple items. So the game is pretty solid.
The graphics look good too and nice texture work. It is all coherent. The only thing is there is a lot of aliasing which could maybe be reduced.
The theme is clear however I feel that it could have more of a 'special' element to it rather than just 'delivery'.
A little bit confusing at first, but once you understand the mechanics it gets more intuitive and fun. The whole aesthetic of the environment is really well done, both the graphics and sound. The simplification of the mechanics into pushing buttons and pulling doors allowed you to make a much more complex loop which I enjoyed, I tried a similar concept in my game and just the closing box mechanic gave me enough headaches for the entire 7 day jam, so congratulations on that implementation. I did find a bug where if you open the sliding doors too hard it goes above the limit and doesn't allow you to use the machine, also aadding a small sound feedback after completing an order to let you know if you got it right or wrong would help the experience a lot. Nice game
Well delivered Juddleys! I love the sounds and animations of the machines you utilized in the game. The game ran smoothly and I felt the pressure of the timer counting down as I was racking up the funds from the orders. Nice job on the visual info graphic to guide players. Very enjoyable!
Well done! So that's the a day of life of an Amazon worker it seems.
Was quite confused on what to do at first, but once you got into the flow it just clicks.
Buttons and handles all work really well.
I like the ambience audio, really sounds like you're working in a logistic warehouse.
I wish that when you teleport to the machines, you're snapped to the perfect position and rotation where the operating area is right in front of you. A lot of times after teleportation, I need a second to figure out where I am and my direction.
Bug: the door went missing and I can't close the door anymore, so I was stuck here.
Thanks so much for playing, yeah I did experiment with some teleport anchors but for some reason they didn’t like working with a teleport area in the same scene so they were more of a pain than useful, probably with a bit more time I could get that working!
Oh dear! Sorry you came across that, I’ll have a look into it and see why it’s doing that
I got 1050$.
Really well done and polished jam submission. Detailed breakdown:

Wow nice work! And thank you for providing a detailed breakdown it really helps, totally agree with your comments though, and really nice to hear some pros too!
Very nice and well polished experience. Small thing but I also loved the diagram you made to explain the game.
It would mean a lot to me if you'd try my game Protocol PAR-C3L as well :)
Thanks for playing! I’ll try make it a little clearer but glad the diagram helped in a way :)
This game is very well developed. The game loop is a great combination of repetition and problem solving. I really enjoyed trying to maximize my efficiency by thinking of ways to use my two hands at once and run multiple machines at the same time. I got $930 dollars on my second shift!
Great game!
Thanks so much, that’s impressive don’t think I’ve got past $200 hahah, thanks for playing!
I really enjoyed playing this game. Having worked in a warehouse environment before, I think you captured many of the things you need to think about when shipping a package. And you made it pretty fun!
Once I figured out how to play, I found that I really wanted to ship as many orders as possible. I like that there is a "damage" system, but I thought it was a bit challenging to catch some of them, especially the book. Also, there is a typo on the spine of the book that I don't think you're counting as damage.
If you go further with this, I'd perhaps allow the player to place the machines where they see fit. It might also be cool to allow the player to "pick" the items themselves, perhaps from an Amazon Robotics style robot.
All in all, fantastic work. Really polished. Thanks for making it.
Thanks! That means a lot coming from someone who’s experienced that side of life, I hope I did it justice. Love the idea of giving more control to the player
Very fun game! I like having to use all of the different machines, and all of the game mechanics/graphics are very polished. My only complaint is it can be really difficult to figure out if an object needs repair.
Thanks for the feedback! Yes I think you’re right, perhaps swapping materials isn’t quite enough to cut it, needs more of a mesh change perhaps? Thanks for taking the time to play :)
This game looks really, really cool, plays in a great designed environment and fits the theme awesome. It also seems to be very well thought out... the only problem is, i somehow do absolutely not get, what i have to do^^
Read the instructions on the whiteboard and on all machines and so, and played now 2 full 8 minute shifts, but somehow still have not really a clue unfortunately. All i know, on this first machine next to the whiteboard i somehow get elements, and should probably place them in any of the other machines. And in the end they should probably be delivered on the meachine on the opposite?
I know, time was very tight, but guess some kind of tutorial, where you introduce the single parts step by step, would have been very useful (at least for me).
Think i also would probably prefer "normal" movement, or at least have the teleport on the right hand, (but guess that's just my personal taste)
But anyhow, great looking, and (if i would understand it^^) an absolutely amazing game.
Ok, played a bit more now. So guess, at least understand now that the icons on the board fit to them in front of the machines. Wrap and Return makes now finally bit more sense :-)
Just still not really sure, when or why e.g. a toilet roll or a book should be repaired^^
I totally get that, there's quite a lot going on and making so that it's easily understandable can be a challenge. If I had more time I would probably add a tutorial run through which explains the process better. Thanks so much for playing and for sticking it out by the sounds of it!
I've updated the description with a bit more of a step by step guide and a few more images, hopefully this helps others with the playthrough!
Nice job on this game! I think it had really good gameplay mechanics, and was honestly fun, but one thing to see if you can fix is that when I picked up an item and was about to teleport to the wrapping station I accidentally dropped it and it went through the floor and I couldn't get it again which led me to submit the package without the item. But anyway, good work and congrats on submitting on time!
Ah gotcha, thanks for letting me know. I was having some issues with colliders on the last day of the jam, it was working fine all week in Unity and as soon as I built it everything started falling through the floor hahah! I changed the collider settings on most of the colliders for the machines and surfaces but not for the floor so that's probably why.. Either way, thank you so much for playing and glad you enjoyed it
